Ahh, it seems you don't have xliveless - it's needed to load downloaded save games.

First, you need to install xliveless. Simply put the xlive.dll in the game directory. Now, go to any of these locations, depending on what Operating System you have, and take your the save game from here, since they won't work anymore if they're located here since you have xliveless installed (change the system driver letters accordingly):

Windows XP SP3: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames
Windows Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames
Windows 7: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames

Now, to place the savegames in the proper directory, you can go by one of the following two procedures:
a) Create the following folder structure in the "My Documents" folder manually (Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames)
b) Simply start GTAIV, create a new game from the menu and save the game taking the first opportunity. Now you can look for the folder in "My Documents" and drop any savegames you have there.

Hope this helps. icon14.gif

You've surely done everything correctly? Each step I posted? You could also try to install the GTA IV Patch 1.0.4.0, it might help you.

yes, i guess!
i did not delete the save file from the users folder.
because i tried deleting them but then a new game started automatically,
and a new user folder was created at the location!

Then keep the save files in that location. However, are you sure you've placed the xlive.dll folder in the main directory of GTA IV? Do that, then move your save files in "My Documents" where, if you don't find a save games folder, simply do one yourself. Or simply start a new game, save after completing the first mission in a slot you don't usually save in, and search for that slot in "My Documents" - then, put in that folder the save game I gave you.

Please tell me if the save file named "I Need Your Clothes, Your Boots, and Your Motorcycle" appears in the game or not. Or if it does appear, tell me if you get any kind of error when trying to load it.
