Yes i make a marker on the airport like a plane, but I make a highway from Andreas to Liberty, too; like you said with a cleo marker at the start from the Tunnel in San Andreas to the Tunnel in Liberty City. The Tunnel not will go in one piece from San Andreas to Liberty CITy...

Ok. I see what you mean. You drive into the tunnel, and somewhere along the way your teliported into the Liberty City end of the Tunnel.

However, do you think you can make it optional anyways as in the GTA III era universe there isn't a tunnel?

Yes, that was my idea.

Why that? The mod plays after the 2001... And I'm sure that the tunnel should not interfere you, because i didn' t need to change some areas on the City.

Thought it was supposed to be like the normal SA, but with the ability for CJ to leave SA and go to LC.

Anyways, I know how the tunnel will work in game and how it will be convenient. But you got to think concept here.

Liberty City is supposed to be like New York in the GTA world. San Andreas is supposed to be like the West Cost in the GTA world. Now in real life, picture them building a tunnel that goes from Las Angles to New York, and it doesn't stop anywhere along the way, just a straight through tunnel. (I say this because in GTA its all ocean, but concept wise, I believe Carcer City is in between somewhere.). So say we do count Carcer City as a stop. That would be like a tunnel that goes straight from Los Angles to Chicago, and then another tunnel that goes straight from Chicago to New York. No stops in between. So when you think about that, that is one mother f*cking long ass tunnel. That tunnel would be about 3000 miles long. I know game play wise it wouldn't be bad, but concept wise, its crazy.

Now I understand you want the players to get their cars between cities. So Here is where this idea comes into play. Like in GTA United they should be able to go to the airport in a different spot so they can ride in a Armonda between cities to have their car come with them. Or they could go to the docks in each city and use that to travel between cities with their car. If you played GTA United, you will know what the concept is I'm talking about. Except for the fact that United didn't have freight ships to transport the player and the players car, only cargo planes. However freight and cargo plane should cost much much more than regular plane tickets that transport only the player.

The highway from San Andreas to Liberty City is not a tunnel all the time, only a short part (the way to the Intersection with the Interstate 95). The rest is a normal interstate highway... The tunnel is only under the bay from the islands to the mainland. The marker on the highway stands for the traveling over all the towns and states of the US. The tunnel is the counterpart to the US Interstate 40. For integrate the cities in the country of the USA, i thought, that Liberty City is not the pendant of New York, cause mayby it will be possible to increase the limit, that you can import GTA 4 into San Andreas... I don't know. So Liberty City is a City in North Carolina, near Jacksonville. And cause the Interstate 40 ends near Las vegas, it would a acceptable solution to make a transit from Liberty CIty to San Andreas.

But i will publice a map of the mod soon :-)

I have made a teleport from Los Santos Airport to Liberty. It is ready. This is the first solution to come to LC.. But only without cars
The second will be a highway, but there i need to find a solution to make a yellow marker for cars and so on..

Why yellow marker? Just make a red marker, that is used for vehicles in SA. I think itīs also better to use the closed tunels in LC as a conection to SA.

If it is possible this will be the best solution: You drive at a new highway in San Andreas which branch off from some of the Vegas Highway Circle or another place and after a while there is a red marker you drive in and you will be teleported to the Part of the Highway, which is in north of Liberty City.. And the last part you drive on the Highway and came to Liberty after a while

Should be posible to do in the normal game, but my scripting skils are realy low. so I don`t know how to do it exactly.

^^Me also. If you ever want to add VC when you are done with LC, I'm working on a mod that pretty much deletes lods. X-Seti had this idea for SOL to free up ids but for some reason never worked on the VC engine, so far so good with LA being lodless. Ids need to be cleaned up though.

Yes soon i will make one, but now i need to find a solution to make a marker for Cars from San Andreas to Liberty City.

Tanks for the Lists.. mayby i will do vice city soon, but now i need to make Liberty Right into San Andreas without bugs..
Are the Free IDs in the List free after deleting the LODs or generally? But when they are free generally that will be fine, because i did not need a limit adjouster, i think. Now I use the IDs from 18631-19400.

Not every limit can be broken by the limitadjuster, as example the map limit canīt also be broken. It seems the ipl limit is hardcoded, as I can see the limit is 256, so making it hardcoded make sence for the game developers.

hmmm... thats not so good because when i make big IPLs with many objects, i cant see some objects in game or you fallen into the ground...
mayby i should make big objects for stauton and shoreside, but blender is not the best for programming dffs -.-

Does anyone a good free tool to make new dffs from many smaller?

There was a student edition of 3ds Max, no idea if there stil such editions avible.

Because of some problems and no time yet, i will pause the mod a time...
So the realise date will be not September 2013. A this point of time it is not sure if i will carry on the GTA SA+ Project.
So the process of the mod is paused to a not known point of time!

Just call this mod is dead. Any "big" conversion mod will die soon after it becomes difficult
so the mod creator will loose interests and then abandon the mod.

...so, other modders will take the project with new ideas and complete them with the original conversion mod

No i don't think so. I make my graduation now, so i have not so much time. In april i am ready with school, so i have more time to make this mod. I think that i look for other people here which like to involve in the mod , too as testers and other things to to. :))
