I've been a cordcutter since 2010. I convinced my parents to cut the cord as well since they paid $80-$100 a month for channels we didn't even watch half the time. I gotta say, cutting the cord has saved us a lot of money! Now all I depend on is subscription services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. I'm later going to buy an XBMC G-box for the living room.

So, out of curiosity, any GTAforum cordcutters here? smile.gif

My family's considered it; we've only got three people in the house and my sister's the only one who still watches cable regularly.

The only reason I think anyone should prefer cable is the spontaneity of it. If Netflix would let you scramble shows and set up line-ups of different shows there would be no questions about cutting the cord.
