Hi. I downloaded a setup for vice city to work with and xbox 360 controller via xpadder. The game fails to start with the gta_vc.set file that has the controls pre-mapped. The game runs fine when i delete the gta_vc.set file. I'm running windows 7 64 bit. I've tried all the compatibility modes, and nothing works. Any ideas on how to get around this? I'm sorry If I didn't give enough information. It's late, I'm tired and having lots of trouble thinking. Thanks in advance, guys.

Why can't you remap the controls??

IN case you were not aware--- The file you refer to is where your game settings are stored-- something in the file you downloaded is making the game incompatible with your system (why it doesn't work and then the game will work if you delete it).

Not sure how to solve this-- perhaps go back to the source and ask them to create a new settings file-- but to not change anything from the default settings other then mapping the controllers.... of if you can find another one hosted somewhere use it instead.
