Do you think Pete Vance will come out in GTA V?

I'm thinking of making a DYOM (Design Your Own Mission) mission series in GTA SA where Pete Vance is the Tony Cipriani of the Russian mob in SanAndreas. After some missions are completed, the mob has no use for him, so they setup an ambush and he gets a call and is told to come to ________________ and when he get's there, he is ambushed.

What do you think?

Pete Vance in GTA V? Not remotely realistic, you know why? Think about it; Vice City stories is set in 1984 whereas GTA IV is set in (I think) 2008. GTA V is going to be set at a later story date than GTA IV. In Vice City Stories, Pete's age is never mentioned, but you can bet he is around Victor & Lances age. Victor was born in 1956, so if he was alive in 2008, he'd be 52. Therefore, Pete would likely be dead due to old age before the setting of GTA V takes place.

Besides, Victor & Lance are Dominican (therefore, Pete must be too), so your idea of making Pete a Russian mob associate is outlandish.

Never thought of that. That's too bad because I was hoping to see at least one of the Vance brothers in action.
Although the Vance brothers father is from D.R, his mother is white. Maybe Pete could be white. But now that I remember, Victor mentions one of his brothers being sick with asthma (I assume it's Pete) and the other sick in another way (Lance obviously) Pete in 1992 would probably be around the same age as sweet, so around his early to mid thirties and his asthma would probably affect him in a big way since there wasn't good medication in the 90s like there is now. Pete is unfit to do GTA sad.gif

I forgot to say that Pete would maybe be around 24 whereas Victor and Lance are in their late 20's maybe 28-29 so 8 years later (1992) Pete would have been 32 years old.

Pete didn't make any noticeable appearance in VCS, so it's highly unlikely. Also he's a III era character so it's veritably impossible to appear in HD era.

I guess it is possible, just as possible as Carl Johnson or Tommy Vercetti being V however I think they would most likely be in a retirement home, cemetery or hospital. I suppose they could be bossing everyone around as leaders. confused.gif

It's impossible. Pete is from III era while V era is different so i don't think it's possible.

Sometimes, new on the internet promoters begin seeing a steady trickle of product sales come in almost off the bat. More often than not, however, on the internet online promotion requires a little more than just that--it requires persistence and the courage to never quit.

You are saying Pete would be around 52 years old and there for dead due to old age? 52 years old is not that old man. Look at GTA IV, many of those people you're working for are in their 50's and 60's.

You all seem to have forgotten Lazlow! He's the character from the III era that returned in GTA IV!

I do not, though... Too much unconvincing... Too much excuses, that's how Rockstar usually behave...

I know how you feel, I pretty much find every thing Rockstar say bullsh*t. As you said it is just excuses yet the only reason I believe in that one saying is that they have proven with IV that no 3D characters will return.

Yet proven it in a totally illogical way! Just think of it! Read their statement again and think...

I suppose you are right... I highly doubt we will see a III era character in V though
Just realised, Pete Vance could be considered an 'El Burro' character. Referenced in VCS, Referenced in V?
