An admin should do an article on GTAV.net to promote it as it's had the same sh*t headline since the end of January.

Amazing video compilation there, I agree with all your points here, do you think there is a chance that these actually will be in the final game? I do love everything you talked about, hope to see some of it in the game.

Kevin Smith reveal yourself!

Amazing video though, some great points and gameplay aspects I would kill for GTA V to have, especially the economy points.

Enjoyable vid meta very interesting ideas in there, I especially like the ideas of how money could be used within crews I think that has a lot of potential and would work well, I could definitely see something along those lines being brought in for V

This was a very well done video, enjoyed watching it the whole way though.. very nice ideas here that I would love to see included in the game or in a future installment.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the name of the music in your other video?

I made that, and I just took out the lyrics from that sequence from the Romeo+Juliet movie from 1996. I used a program called GoldWave to mute the voiceover.

That was nicely done. I used to use GoldWave to rip CDs back in like the fukn 90s. I was not aware it was still around. Is it still freeware?

Aren't there already instrumental versions of that? I could swear i heard it instrumental before.. I could be wrong though.

Well f*ck, that was awesome. I may not have agreed with everything (namely, the more difficult acquisition of firearms), but the presentation and enthusiasm was beautiful. All my kudos to you sir.

I have not been excited about this game for eight months. This video- though it only suggests possibilities- changed that. Spectacular.

Hmm, never even heard of gold wave. Usually I use audacity if its something super simple.

There are actually a number of great VST plugins that can help with vocal removal. But i think its better to have an actual DAW when using VSTs

Heres actually a video I did where I removed the vocals from trailer 1. Its pretty phasy in some parts but thats because the back track had some crazy panning affects and thus made the process fairly difficult.

Thanks for your valuable input. But it does matter. Rockstar definitely listens to their fans, especially when they contrive well thought out discussion such as this one.

A very well done video guys.

I've always wanted the resources in a GTA game, be that weapons, money, ammunition etc. to carry more weight and truly be worth preserving. Obviously GTA characters have got connections but for me to get a gun, in my real life, would be a near impossible task. As you made clear this is how it should feel for protagonists when they need military grade weapons.

In terms of a workable economy, what are everyone's opinions on revenue streams, overheads, out-goings etc? What I mean by this is that many depictions of organised crime on TV and Film explore the character's ability to launder all their ill-gotten gains. If you were to invest in a nightclub for instance you stream your money through that business but you will inevitably lose some in Tax, bills etc.

I'm far from suggesting some sort of dick-punchingly boring accountancy mini-game but a way to keep money relevant and necessary would be to have these costs affect you and on a regular basis. Thoughts?
