I have found a taximeter of a NYC Taxi 1987 Caprice (pictures from a film, though I guess it's real):

Great, I won't let you down.
By the way, doesn't it need the classic chrome mirrors?

Looking great, even the low poly version would be great to have in some of the older games (III & VC), or even the mobile versions of those games where you are not going to see such details on a small screen.

I'd call it an acceptable Mid-Poly. Game should be perfectly fine with that amount of polygons..

The model itself looks great, will you be releasing both hi-/lowpoly versions?

the model is only for LOD. Doing a low poly... if I have more time, but one guy converted my 442 and drastically reduced the polygon using some the parts from Driver SF.

the main mesh is nearly done, im working on the LOD model. merging and detatching, very monotonous.

You take your time. I myself also work on motivation. Without there will be no progress.

Yeah must be fatigue... Finally got it to zmodeler, after some difficulty with conversion (keep discarding the material data) after fiddling around I got it to work...

Back in vice city days, my model is like 40% done and its already in game biggrin.gif

^ and that's one of the reasons why there's so few scratch made models for GTA IV wink.gif

Btw, I know it's still early for this, but I have a suggestion regarding the Impala. I was watching Terminator 2 when I saw this Impala with a 2 color paint job (in this case green body and white roof): http://www.imcdb.org...mpala-1981.html
I've been searching for more Impalas with that kind of two color theme; they are not the most common but I could find a bunch of them. Anyway, I think that two color body could give a bit more of variety sensation in the traffic versus the plain 1 color theme that most of the vehicles have. What do you think?

Oh, that'll be easy. I hope Carface will make this variety for you. Although, it might require a handling line to make combineable colors.
