Hi!

I am stuck at pilot school in gta san andreas and I am trying to upload my savefile to ask somebody to help me but I can't find the file and I have no idea what it should be called. I'm trying to upload my first savefile and I'm using a macbook.

I would be very happy if anybody could help me!

Thanks in advance

Should be located in the San Andreas User Files folder. It should be called GTASAsf1.b or any other number, GTASAsf8.b too possibly.

In "GTA San Andreas User Files". It's called "GTASAsfx" ("x" represents any number from 1 to 8). EDIT: miromiro was faster, we both said basically the same. Also as shoumic said you probably won't get any help here with mac saves unfortunately, but you can still try.

I don't think any of the SnP'ers over here can do this request for you especially because you have the mac version of the game. Our windows platform is incompatible with the Macintosh version.

It should look something like this in GTA User Files. http://i.imgur.com/UOasiUi.png Check it again. Also there is a chance that you have deleted all saved games.

It is possible that the Mac saves might work differently.

They are located here, 0909090 and miro are wrong.

Try going here.

Very strange indeed because that is where the saves are located in a Macintosh device. + I already said we will not be able to do the mission for you since you are using a mac. We can give you tips though if you are okay with that.

Simply because we don't own a Macintosh device. It's not that we don't want to do it, we simply just cannot do it for you since the saves are incompatible. All of the SnP'ers own a Windows device.

Simply just Mac version isn't popular as Windows one. You could try to use Mission Passer, but I can't find working link now..

@0909090

Demarest only made the Mission Passer for the Windows version of the Game. He was banned before the Mac version even came out.

Try to watch some youtube walkthroughs, it may help a bit. Also I always use machine gun instead of rockets it's a lot esier for me.

QUOTE (Derived from gtaasandreas.net)
Use the skills you have learned to fly towards the 3 vans at the end of the airstrip. Don't fly too low, or you will miss the targets completely. Tap 'Up' repeatedly as you approach the targets or keep your Helicopter at 45 degrees, and begin firing miniguns (using 'Control or Command Or whatever you soot with). Fire as many as you can, and as quickly as you can, and destroy the 3 vans. Quickly turn 180 degrees and fly towards the moving vans. Again, slow down as you approach and begin firing as quickly as you can. Destroy both targets and again, turn 180 degrees, and head back to the airstrip. Land in the red marker. Your overall score is based on the time taken, your final position score and the damage penalty.

It's a good thing we didn't complete the mission for you then, it feels a lot better when you complete it yourself to be honestly. I used to struggle in that test as well when I was new to the game.

Now lets see you completing N.O.E all by yourself. (Future mission)

We have maybe three people who own the game on MAC. And, as you can see; no one has yet found where Apple/Rockstar 'hides' the Save Games.
We used to believe that the game is the Normal Game being run in an IBM Clone emulator, but now it has become quite a Mystery.

I just used a friends laptop who has the MAC version of the game and No, they are not hidden anywhere else it is where I stated it was.

The OP might have followed the instructions incorrectly.

The saves are located in the User Files Folder in Documents...as noted in the Pinned topic-lol tounge2.gif

Although some people have stated in the past on here about saves going to the Install directory instead, however, IV was the only game I had this happen on and that was fixed with Xliveless(made the saves go the the IV User Files folder in Documents)...? confused.gif

Have you even looked through the topic radioman? We are talking about the Macintosh version of the game man where the Save Files are located in the 'Data' folder not the User Files folder. So it is not noted in the pinned topic. icon14.gif
