I found Driver more enjoyable Miami.

OR

I know the game was out then, True Crime SOLA.

Well go f*ck off and play Driver then!

Seriously why go about the GTA 3 forum saying how bad it is? If you don't like the game, you don't like it, you dont need to say its a bad game to everyone you meet

People, post all the time in sections, they don't like.

Prime example: Hall90 posts in the SA section all the time, which kinda irks me, when he doesn't even like the game. (No offense Hall).

Plus III isn't as bad as LCS smile.gif

GTA 3 is my favourite of the series. The storyline is OK, but what is even better are the sideline missions - guaranteed to give you hours of fun. Patriot checkpoint races are my favourite.

The graphics may be dated, but it still beats GTA4 in athmosphere and driving physics. It's nowhere as realistic as Mafia 2, but it is fun.

But you may not like it, I warn you. I played it in 2004, liked it. Played VC then, liked it. Played SA, liked it. Went back to GTA 3 and only then realised that no other game is so close to my heart.

When I switch from GTA IV to GTA III, I don't really enjoy it at first, but once I start getting into the game a bit more, all of the amazing memories come back. LC is a great city to exlore. I like the vehicles on the game, too.

GTA IV driving physics> entire GTA III era driving phyicss.

If I turn in GTA IV, it feels like I am driving the Titanic. I don't care if it is realistic, I just wanna have an awesome police pursuit without crashing EVERY 5 SECONDS.

Just because it is more realistic, doesn't mean it is better!

To me it's not better because of realism. It's better because it gives a much rawer driving experience alot of sandbox games tend to lack and take the player's hand for them making the physics on rails like.

It's not the game's fault you crash every 5 seconds. Learn to use the correct throttle/brake application. Honestly everytime I play one of the GTA III era GTAs after GTA IV driving feels like it's had its nuts tied together.

It's simply better in GTA IV. To me anyway.

LOL, of course GTA IV driving physics < every GTA driving physics, because GTA IV is good only with naturalmotion engine (about peds and objects), but driving physics were terr.

That's your opinion. IV's driving was more fun in my opinion because it felt more realistic and it was more of a challenge.
If I'm not mistaken, 1 and 2 had more realistic driving physics than all the games until IV.

In those games (except 1,2, and IV) it didn't really feel like you were driving a car, but the driving was better compared to lots of free roaming games that followed them.

I liked IV's driving but some cars used to take the p*ss and could not steer around a simple bend. III era driving was alright aswell but at the time it didn't need to be perfect

You'r right it isn't. But whatever is your least favorite GTA, i'm sure you don't have nice things to say about it, or you just flame the game for it's flaws.

And it's a tie, between III and LCS. But III just barely wins in my book.

That's a moronic thing to do, especially when you make off-topic posts about that.

I would say that all GTA games are worth playing if you are a fan, but that's just my opinion.
You might want to play it if you want to hear\see the complete story of the III era games.

I used to think that too. Also, the hookers in GTA III where you literally took them to an alley and they would 'magically' boost your health to 125

The good thing about hookers were if you knew a mission was going to come up in which you needed a lot of health you could pick one up and some armor and you would most likely survive the mission.

Haha. To be honest though, I rarely use the prostitutes. I suppose it is because I very rarely (and I mean RARELY) die in the game so I don't to have extra health. For new players though, good trick.
