I recently found my old 2003 Vice City GTA game for the PC that has been lost for years.. I of course immediately tried to play the game on my Windows 7 laptop.
Once the disc was read the only thing that popped up was an AutoPlay popup (DVD RW DRIVE (F:) Vice_City_Play) that only allowed me to: A. Play audio from the game or B. Something entitled "data3" that wouldn't open.
I must add that the disc has some scratches on it.

Anybody know what's going on?

The problem is the scratch on the disk. Try wiping the disc carefully with a smooth cloth. Or maybe try to get some toothpaste and a soft cloth, pour a glob on the disk about as big as your thumb's fingernail. Rub in a tiny circular motion. Wash it off and buffer with soft cloth in a small circular motion. If it still won't work, I suggest you get a new DVD, and take good care of it.
