I think It's an FIB agent flying the helicopter, compare:

IV is looking so damn terrible in this screen. Don't have any words.

In that 2nd pic of Trevor, what do you guys think is that thing hanging from his left wrist? Part of the bike, or part of his watch? It's bothering me... lol.

I'm pretty sure it's his watch. colgate.gif

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. It's just odd to me how it's dangling like that though.

He does like to live crazy. And what's crazier than wearing you're watch unstrapped! cool.gif

The fact that it IS unstrapped means R* pays attention to the little details.

Bloody hell. Could you imagine if the attention to detail was so anal that during physical activity, the strap on his watch comes loose.

We know that clothes will get dirty & bloody, as seen during some scenes in trailer 2. Just how R* have kept the same (or more) amount of detail in a map larger than SA, IV & RDR combined is simply staggering.

The first screenshot is on the back of the preorder box I nicked from the shelves of my local store. Wow, that's a pretty sad admission I just made there.

I was impressed when I saw that screenshot the first time and I still am! The quality of the vehicles equals to the ones in Midnight Club: Los Angeles which is amazing for a big openworld game like GTA V. The combination of all screenshot in August last year made me think about the possibility of multiple protagonists. I still had my doubts but it seemed to be much more likely then, at least for me. I like it how the police uses lasers to aim with their weapons.

It was quite obvious that the dirtbike, also known as Sanchez, would return in GTA V but it was nevertheless nice to have a confirmation and I started to imagine what fun I am going to have with my dirtbike in the countryside while the police is chasing me. I drive every single vehicle of GTA at least once for a longer time if not twice or much more often and the Sanchez was one of my favourite bikes in GTA San Andreas and GTA IV. That will be probably not much different in Rockstars next sequel of the GTA series!

I wonder if it's just N.O.O.S.E. (SWAT) that has access to laser sights & whether they will be more accurate than standard cops. At least we'll know when they've got their guns trained on us now & should make for a pretty laser light show at night.

I actually like the police cruisers. Has a classic feel. But I hope that there are alot more models.

The second screen is one of my favorite. The bright blue sky is perfect California. I remember when I lived there that I thought it was so surreal how blue the sky would get. Also, it's not concrete, but it appears to be a ladder running up the center of the power tower. Would be cool to climb that bad boy.

As far as the wrist object, some people have suggested that maybe it's a broken handcuff??

It's the strap to his wrist watch, you can see the watch better in some of the screens.

I love how Trevor has a crappy old Casio watch, it so suits him. I guess Michael will wear a Crowex but what will Franklin have on his wrist?

I like that the helicopter is flying really low in the 1st screen & hope that they actually do that in the final game. Even if it isn't very realistic.

Yea I was wondering about the altitude of the chopper. That's crazy. I think that would make for some interesting chases if they got that low. I also like the laser sights from the chopper. Paired with a spot light it will def add atmosphere to night chases

I think by the time there are no more pics there will be more out

Exactly. Not to mention we have disected the sh*t out of these screens already so one screen a day would get stale fast

Seems like a good topic.

I noticed a couple of things in the first picture for Day 2:

- I'm happy that the Infernus is back.
- Why is the chopper that low?
- Lasers on weapons.
- 'Vapid' sign. (possibly hinting to car dealerships)
- Random workman
- Nice looking cop cars.

That chopper is riding awfully low, could it be that police actually land with their helicopters now?

Hmm maybe. Or they just want a better vantage point in general

Screen 1:
I wasn't too excited for this screen nor am I now. I like the fact the the Infernus is returning the way it was back in IV - with better rims too as well as more noyiceable carbon fiber- however, I hated the police cars. It feels like it was a step down from the previous cruisers. These cop cars looked quite dumb, basically, to me. I mean just look at 'em?
There was also just not much to this screen.

Whaddya mean? Old police cars were a step up, sure. But I think they are aiming to have more life-like cop cars. They look the same as the ones cops use in America now.

If they want to fly that low, then I'm going to try a 'Live Free or Die Hard' on their ass.

The more I look to those shots the harder I believe those are from PS3/ XBOX360 ... or at least non edited (and with edited I mean heavily edited).

Trevor looks pretty cool with the Sanchez in that pic.
Another thing, I noticed the "Vapid" logo in that pic, Vapid was a vehicle company in GTA IV - It's making a return in GTA V!

I dont see anything spectacular about the screens really. The character models are alot better but thats really it.

I can see how the screens may be edited for a move cinematic appearance, but other than that, I dont see it

Yeah, the only unbelievable thing about the screenshots (in general, not just these ones) is the complete lack of aliasing in most of them. I'll assume that's not what the final product will look like, but otherwise they just remind me of RDR's graphics but slightly improved in some areas and with a different artistic direction applied, which seems perfectly possible to me.

GTA V looks very good if we consider the fact that it's a big openworld game and actually even the biggest title that Rockstar has created yet but it's nothing where I would say that it's not from current-generation systems. The graphics of the game are very good and impressive for such old hardware but it's not unbelieveable amazing. I don't think that the screenshots are edited although the one or the other screenshot from IGN is probably edited (example) since some of them look too good to be true but that's just an exception. Rockstar themselves claim that they don't edit or polish screenshots and that is probably true but well known sources like IGN can edit them so it wouldn't be the fault of Rockstar then if the final result doesn't exactly look like the screenshots from other sources.

I get a gut feeling that the cops will be more aggresive and also tactical , we never had the police chopper riding that low in the previous games as i recall. Also i really like the Trevor and Sanchez screen, we can really see that is a big improvement in graphics compared to GTA IV. I'm also a little disappointed in the police car models, looks like older models than the one in IV, the models in V reminds me of the Civc Cruiser in NFS games circa-2005 Most Wanted

The police vehicles are older models in that screen, but I'm pretty sure they will vary depending on the county you are in. Some will have newer and some will have older models. Just my 2 cents though.
