Considering that 3DS Max is too expensive to buy, I was hoping to use Google Sketchup to attempt to do a full recreation of the city of Pittsburgh as an island west of Alderney.

If not Sketchup, what other program could I use to pull this off?

Yes, you can model your map in google sketchup, but still you need 3ds max to convert it smile.gif Best is to do it all on 3ds max in one go.
