.IDE Draw distance help

I've downloaded SAiVC recently and I absolutely despise the lag. I checked the .IDE files and the draw distance is set to 300.

CODE
1349, cj_shtrolly, cj_dyn_prop, 1, 300, 2097284


That's an example, but if I change the 300 to a 100, the game will crash. I'm at a loss right now. What do I do?

VC draw distance for normal models is typically 300.

Is the lag all over the map or in certain areas? SAiVC has a problem with LODs.. Recently with the help of Max I redid the Lod naming so that the LODS load/unload properly.. Although I'm still encountering some lag in LS(maybe other areas, but I haven't really explored.) Once I get the lag resolved and finish off the lod renaming I can send you my files. I also have the collision(invisible) wall problems resolved in my build.

I've disabled every other part of the map besides LS, so...

2097284 is wrong for the VC engine, change this to 128

0.1 to 300.0 is the limit for rendered solid objects. 300.9 to 2999.9 is for LODs. You should set this to 3000+ otherwise the engine can do weird things. Switching from normals to LODS, both Normal and LOD objects appear when your near them.

A lot of IDE draw values are wrong in SAiVC. Generic objects should never be given anything over 100.0 draw distance.
