If the start dates for seasons in the southern hemisphere mirror those of seasons in the northern hemisphere, spring wouldn't start until September 21 down there, and it would still be winter when V comes out. No matter what it wouldn't technically be spring anywhere in the world on the 17. Unless of course spring does start in the southern hemisphere on different dates than the northern.

Worthless topic, I know, just wanted some clarification.

Theoretically Spring/Fall start is indeed on a different day. This year it's the 21st of September in the Southern Hemisphere and the 22nd in the Northern Hemisphere.
The dates are coupled with the Equinox which is twice a year, it's when the sun passes the equator.

BTW, the Meteorogical Fall/Spring start is however September 1st, just a fun fact.

Thank you very much. I guess the dates for season starts are not the same as those for northern hemisphere at all. That's gay as f*ck.

No because Rockstar resides in the Northern hemisphere. They can't take it a excuse.

GOOGLE.COM

for future reference, just type in the above web address, ask your question, and then a large number of links to pages which may be of interest will appear... one of the pages may answer your questions... it's actually quite nifty...
