They filmed a scene near my apartment late last year here in London. All residents living in the vicinity all received notices and even a short synopsis of the scene that was being filmed. Needless to say I am looking forward to this movie as I thoroughly enjoyed the last one. The F&F series is maturing and I like this heist + cars deal they've got going on.

Can you tell us what the scene is/was

Yeah sure, The cops have cornered the primary antagonist at his hideout near Canary Wharf, London. He escapes the police with a shoot out and car chase ensuing. In the trailer the part in the tunnel is where he is escaping as that is the Limehouse Link which is the primary connection between Canary Wharf and Central London.

I was very surprised that Fast Five got a 78% on RT from critics. It looked like pure f*cking sh*te. I'm sure this one will get a similarly high percentage for some odd reason.

No matter what, it equals another movie to torrent in May and kill time until V drops. 'Twill probably be a sh*tty cam, though, as DVDSCR season's getting to be done with now that all the award shows have right f*cked off.

Ah, Fast and Furious... when I was younger I tried to parody these films by inserting Winnie the Pooh characters into similar storylines. I still have the scripts around, but I'm sure nobody wants to hear it. Tokyo Drift is when I really got into these movies. I still remember the day...

Agreed. I like the direction they've take since Fast & Furious. Tokyo Drift was a stinker IMO although the first two weren't so bad.

This will be an awesome movie to watch in preparation for GTA V. smile.gif

While I have enjoyed every single one, I did find that one lacking. Though I did enjoy it more then 2 Fast 2 Furious, 2F2F had way too much sh*tty CGI in it. Plus Tokyo Drift had pretty good races, and it introduced Han Seoul-Oh to the series. biggrin.gif

Kill me if you want, but I think this one 'll be too over the top. I mean, tanks, something that made me think of this, dead people coming back, etc. I dunno, I love this series but it seems it's going the wrong direction (story wise). But just like the rest of you, I'm just going to enjoy this awesome movie when it comes out.

Well, I have only seen the first three, Fast & Furious is on tomorrow so I will be watching that, excited to see it biggrin.gif and of course curious as to whether I will like this new heist spin on the series or not. There was a section on the wikipedia page about a year ago saying that the heist spin is staying, and that parts of F&F 6 were being filmed in the UK, but I can no longer find it.

I'm definetly going to see this when it comes out at the Cinema. I've been a fan of the Fast & Furious series since the first one. Fast Five was pretty good, but not as good as I thought. I prefer the older ones. Tokyo Drift is my favorite Fast & Furious movie. I can watch that movie over and over again.

Another f*cking one? None of these movies have been worth a sh*t. Manufactured, faux-cool CGI bullsh*t created by a guy having a midlife crisis. Why do we need six?

Well that's another series gone to the sh*tter.

The first to the fourth films were awesome, but at Fast Five it just went a bit sh*ttier, it wasn't focusing on the cars, street racing and tuning, it just decided to be another generic bank heist movie with cars cheaply slapped on so they can say "oh look guys this is like the others lol".

I hoped they'd go back to the proper Fast films for the sixth, but it turns out they've not.

My point exactly.

Still, I love the series. I was first grade when I first watched it. I've watched first and second part 9999999 times. I used to imitate characters, especially Brian, and all those silly-car moves with toys lol. Not to mention the part when Vince and Brian fight in front of Dom's bar. That was my f*cking kick-boxing lesson when I was a kid. lol.gif Also, I loved that sexy-ass red Ford F150 SVT Lightning. Still do. That movie is my damn childhood.

Tokyo Drift, well, was a bit o' black sheep in the series. No old characters, new environment, but still was cool as hell.

Fourth installment was awesome, if you ask me. Old characters, continuation of the old story. First part left some unanswered questions, and they were definitely answered in fourth one.

About Five, imo, they went totally out of the sh*t, lost every connection with reality. As the guy above mentioned, it almost didn't focus on cars and tuning at all, just that stupid bank heist and two chargers pulling the container. Generally watched, the movie is awesome, but but it's sad when you see what they made out of such cool series.

Six? Mildly said, sh*t. I'm not hyped about it at all, in all honesty.

I like the tuna here.

Old F&F movies were even more detached from reality, and the way they did cars in those movies was just stupid. Last I checked, driving at 110mph doesn't make your car's floorboards fall out and spray sparks in your face.

I haven't seen any of the FAF movies but this one looks good, maybe I'll check them all out before the new one comes out. Anyone know if there is a boxset with all the movies?

Here is a list of cars that survived the filming. Might be slightly spoilerish, don't look if you want to be surprised by the cars when the movie comes out.

Do you see the desperation in your comment? Also, ''Why do WE need six? No, man. Not ''we''. There is no ''we''. It's just you and your opinion which quite frankly, doesn't matter. At all wink.gif

No, you don't actually. I even didn't watch it till the end it's so predictable. Just sixth part of the same movie, filled with CGI, corny dialogues and impossible to do actions. Fans know what to except and if someone haven't became the fan, he probably won't change his mind. I'll watch it just to laugh from endless stupidtiy of the screenwriter (although action with plane may be safe dragging from Fast Five), because I simply don't understand how somebody can watch without laughing.

A trailer for this film was shown in when my, my sister and her boyfriend were about to watch Iron Man 3 this weekend.
When the trailer came on, my sisters boyfriend and I just looked at each other and were all like "ohhhhh yeaaaaaahhhh".

And see, you really miss the point of the series. They are suppose to be fun and you are suppose to laugh at how absurd the action is. No one takes the series seriously, and you are an idiot if you attempt to. These kinds of movies are prefect for large screens and great surround sound that are in movie theatres.

Plus most of the action seems to be proper special effects and not cgi. Only thing that looked CGI was the plane scene.
