Less than one week away now till the Super Bowl, the Ravens are facing the 49ers in the Super Bowl in a game that is sure to be really physical, and be very emotional, with Ravens hall of fame bound linebacker Ray Lewis retiring after this game.

This is the Ravens 2nd Super Bowl appearance and the 49ers 6th appearance, This will be the first Super Bowl in which both of the teams have appeared in, but not yet lost, a previous Super Bowl. 49ers are favored by 4.5 points heading into the game at the moment, but the game could go either way in my opinion. If the 49ers win they will tie the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl wins of all time.

Super Bowl will be played on February 3rd at 6:30 est and be broadcasted on CBS in the U.S. Alicia Keys will be singing the national anthem and Beyonce will be main performer for halftime (heard Jay-Z might also be there to tounge.gif ).

So yeah, the game is almost here and I'm very excited for it. I'm hoping the Ravens win it, just because I'm a fan of Ray Lewis, plus I'm still mad at the 49ers for beating my Packers.... The game could go either way though, and won't be mad if the 49ers win.

Who do guys think/want to win it?

Edit: 49ers made a good comeback, but it wasn't enough to stop the Ravens!

Ravens win, 34-31

I'm not a fan of either teams but I'm put my money on Baltimore.

All my excitement is for the fact that Super Bowl XLVII is in my home state and pretty close to my home town. The south will be going crazy!
Never know I might go tail gating at the Superdome. Ain't no party like a Mardi Gras party!! Shifty41s_beerhatsmilie2.gif

Looking forward to a good game.

feels like Baltimore has the edge.
Niners offense has real potential to blow up the scoreboard too.

should be a good game.

Me being a die hard Raider fan, I can't really stand the niners. I am a fan of Ray Lewis though and hope to see him go out on top! I'll say 24-13 Ravens. Low scoring physical game, the kind I like. Although I am a defensive guy, played DB in highschool. Anyway, GO RAVENS!!!!

Looking forward to the game. I'm rooting for the 49ers but I think Baltimore are going to win.

I might watch a little of it, I can't sit and watch the whole puppy bowl though, it gets really boring after about 10 minutes of watching it for me.

anyway, about 2 hours till the super bowl starts! I'm really excited for it, mostly because all my buddies are comin to my house to watch it so it should be fun. I'm really hoping Ray Lewis and Baltimore can get it done, it just wouldn't be right for him to go out like that.

Was expecting this topic to be a lot more active than it actually is, especially as there seems to be a strong American population on these forums. Even i'm watching it and pretty much they only thing i know is what 'getting sacked' is. Lot of head scratching with all these flags for infringements popping up.

That Flacco lad seems to be doing well, on the way to being MVP?

Still a sh*t ton of breaks i see.

I wonder if I'm the only one who found the half time show rather boring? sigh.gif

Considering half of the people who watch this game only watch it because of that. tounge.gif

I'm not saying she was bad, just in comparison to the other ones I've seen it didn't seem to have much action in it.
At least that kickoff return touchdown just made up for the lack of action haha.

There are no commercials here. cool.gif
They are pretty much improvising, looks rather awkward. Funny thing, just right after the half time show the moderators were like "Well, we never ever see something like this in Europe, they surely know how to get attention". Now this. lol.gif

I'm watching it via the NFL Live Stream. So Commercials, commercials and more commercials. Good ones though. So you don't hear me complaining. Who do you think will win?

A rather good job hosting the Superbowl New Orleans. If it wasnt for Burbon Street...

Damn power is out and they've done three recaps now. Lovely.

Ohh haha nice. They show it on free TV here, I don't even know why, I doubt many people are watching it at this time.
I think the 49ers are pretty screwed now. First the extremely fast touchdown, not the long pause, it's not really for their advantage, can't really see the making a comeback anymore.

The commercials aren't as good as I thought they'd be. And where is the Mercedes commercial?

Currently I'm waiting until the power fails again. Wonder what the chances are for this?

Nicely done Kaepernick is there still a chance for the 49ers? I hope not. I have my money on the Ravens.
