Dear GTA: San Andreas Fans!
I'm happy to announce my work on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, now I know that this is not a fancy topic but i rather work on the mod instead of making a good looking
post for it. I've been doing this for more than a year now but I all ways abandoned it and than re-started it again. But this version is now much organized and will be released soon.
This BETA modification is well organized and that includes that the mod will only include true(confirmed) information, most of my work is from left overs in the game files, rockstargames.com or per-relase magazines such as IGN's online article.

Now this is just a tiny bit of whats done all ready, I will be soon posting more images of the ADDED Grove members, changes on missions and more vehicles.
Now I will need help with more scripting because i can't do everything all by my self.

please read the post you're quoting before posting a reply, and it does not only add beta missions, it adds new missions that ware never in any versions of San Andreas.

I would love to use it, thank you. You're getting credited as a team member. But I will might ask you to convert other vehicles as well. And help the other vehicle converter because he has some issues but i might solve those.

Cool, there was another BETA mod that released a few months ago, here is some BETA info:

The gun sounds were more echo (You can use my GTA SA BETA gun sounds mod on GTAG)

The M249 and/or M60 were going to be added (Don't know how you could get this to work, but maybe replace the minigun with the M60 from VC, change the Holding animation to the Assault Rifle one and give it a slower rate of fire, I can make the sound if needed)

The UZI was in. (Same as VC one)

The PSG-1 Sniper Rifle from VC was in (I can add the VC Sniper Rifle sound if required, but I would have to add two sounds on the same file, I don't know of any sound editing programs that let you do this)

The NRG-500 looked different.

The Slamvan had hidden hoods. (Can get pic if you want it)

Don't recall seeing "Tuff Nuts Donuts" (Lol) and the Flash looks like it has a slightly slimmer roof, fatter front bumper, fatter rear bumper and only one exhaust:

Here is another mod, but they forgot some stuff, you can ask the people involved in it if you can use their stuff. Beta mod

Get ready for all this info (Not mine):
* Animals that would roam the rural areas were cut. (Their models are still available in the game's files, albeit without AI present).
* Originally, there were over 300 gang territories to be taken over all over the map.
* The ability to create and run your own casino was taken out after the alpha version.
* Usable car-washes, similar to those in GTA IV , were cut.
* The ability to ride the Trolleys in San Fierro was cut.
* Early magazine previews showed that cops would hold on a vehicle's bumper if the player tried to speed away.
* The mobster who Carl kills in Saint Mark's was originally going to be called Marco Forelli but due to deleted audio, his name was never mentioned in the final version.
* The Grove Street Families were originally going to be called The Orange Grove Families.
* Gangster would walk into accessible places like safehouses, stores, etc.
* Pool tables were originally going to be colored green instead of blue.
* The motor bikers had a different design.
* Carl Johnson would be able to use drugs, which would make the camera wobble around making it more difficult to control CJ.
* The ability to drink beer was cut from the alpha version
* Through the hidden interiors universe unused Brothels can be found, these were most likely to be placed on top of Strip Clubs.
* Pre-release magazine articles showed that stealing cars was to be much more difficult. In early screen shots, car jacking was shown to involve smashing the car's window and then hot wiring it. This was all removed, possibly due to the limitations posed by the PS2. A similar system is present in GTAIV.
* The ability to rob stores (like in GTA: Vice City) such as 24/7 was removed.

* Originally, if Carl Johnson killed a pedestrian, a news van would arrive and the crew would report on the event.
* If Carl crashed into a lamp post a mechanic would arrive to fix it. If the player killed the mechanic the lamp post would remain broken for a time, even if the player left the immediate area.
* The Mulholland Safehouse seemed to have a full interior that can be seen from the outside. The change on final version causes a glitch which allows the player to go through the wall.[14]
* Donut shops such as Rusty Brown's Ring Donuts were places Carl Johnson could eat.
* San Fierro in the beta had very few docks and more parks. The beta map of San Fierro was very detailed and can be seen in Driving School.
* The construction yard near the hospital in Downtown Los Santos had a crane.
* The Easter Naval Base had a different outline, it had a dock and the ship is missing.
* San Andreas was much bigger and had several different land masses, such as a larger San Fierro (which resembled San Francisco more closely), A full beta map of San Andreas can be found on a wall in the Lil' Probe'Inn.
* Las Venturas had a different name by the initials "LG". In early screen shots of Las Venturas, Police Cars had the initials "LG" printed on their doors. One can only assume what "LG" stood for.
* Santa Flora Medical Center had 2 helipads on its roof. These pads were most likely meant for the Maverick and Raindance that spawn there in the alpha. Oddly enough, these helipads were absent in the alpha, so the choppers simply spawned on the roof.
* The Clown's Pocket Casino was originally called The Ringmaster, its original name can still be seen on the paper map included inside the game box.
* Hardware Stores was originally included in-games, and you can buy tools (like in Vice City).
* Pharmacies from Vice City was originally included in-games were you can buy health and adrenaline.

bloodrb.dff and bloodrb.txd are the texture and model of the unfinished bloodring b from SA, they can be used if the "b" at the end is turned into an and put into the game via IMG Editor.

Some more info: Also there some BETA weapons like screwdriver,Skateboard,machete etc..They are still in the game files ..

Also there were some BETA missions like Tanked Up, A unnamed mission before fish in a barrel ,Impouned etc.. wink.gif

Now I have no proof of the Screw driver or the machete but if you have the game files it could be cool if you could tell me the name of it and we're working on the skateboard.
Now it would be good if you could help me with scripting I will send you further information about it in PM.

Seems like this mod will have a great outcome, and you already have the M60 sound?

The VC M60 sound has a small error that I fixed, I can give it to you if you want it.

Also, the Skateboard was supposed to be a Vehicle/Mode of transportation and a weapon, not sure if you got this.

Under the ZR-350 sound, there is still rimnants of the Hybrid sound. (I don't know how R* did that, but if you listen to the sound in SAAT, you can hear a high pitched Hybrid engine.)

In Bank 127 on SAAT, there is a train warning sound (I don't know what it's called) it's sound 002

And there is a VC boat sound in Bank_018 in SAAT, it's sound_001

My bad, you are right, that is a FCR-900 biggrin.gif , but I don't recall CJ having an animation like that when getting on Motorbikes.

A small update
I did not have much time last week but I still did a few stuff today so here's a little recap of the stuff I'm happy with and I'm releasing screenshots of:

I worked on the scripts and i have replaced stuff that changed in present missions these are only cars and minor stuff but it's good.

Changes:
The voodoo was once White in the beta not pink
Jeffrey used to escape with a Sanchez not a PCJ-600
Ryder had a Sadler not a Picador

Now I've found something on the map again and I've worked on this today as well and here it is hope you like it:

(Note that you'll be able to enter this but I have not got to LV yet so it's not unlocked, and it's still not done because there are collision bugs that i will have to fix.

I didn't know that a Ammunation was supposed to be there, interesting.

So did you know that the plaza i posted for the first time was meant to be in ganton? i found that aswell

There is one thing I found years ago which I think no-one else has seen, is that at the Easter Basin Naval Base, if you walk around the dock-y bit, you'll see a helipad on the radar, yet it isn't there physically.

I've found that too, I even remember the story i was playing multiplayer and i was waiting for my friend because he was afk so i was just swimming around the docks and i just saw that on the radar.

And you say that you havn't been to LV yet, I can give you my save, it has maximum money, good cars and all Girlfriends upgrades.

Thank you but I have edited the main script as you can see and it might not load but if it does the ENEXes(enter/exit marker)would be messed up because they have to do something with save files so once one is added all of them messes up, like when i did the ammu-nation i accidental loaded a save game and as soon as i left CJ's house it returned me to colonel's house.
and you can see the plaza on my first post but here's the proof that it existed

and one thing I've noticed while testing it is that it's still left on the mini map/radar
I will post a better screenshot of it because you can't really see where it is on my first post because the ground is made by my friend and it's a bit messed up, but i will create a brand new one so it'll look good.
