I think it would be good if people could change the rating they give mods over on GTA Garage, I know some people might abuse the system, but I think that when new files are uploaded to a mod it should allow us to change our mind on the rating, what if the first version of a mod was quite crappy but v2 was great and we loved it, and already rated the mod with 2 stars when now it deserves 4-5, it is a little unfair and then the mods rating won't reflect what people now think of it.

Please do take it into consideration.

(Is there anyone out there that agrees with me????)

Yeah, I would say that this is a good idea. If a mod changes then we should be able to change the rating if we want to.

Or better yet, stop rating mods without files. Obviously if you never played it, you cant have an opinion. dozingoff.gif

Well that is not the point I am getting at, but still if people have done like you said it would allow them to re-evaluate there thought after the files or and update has been posted.

Have an approval system not just for the file, but the mod submission.

This might help towards the rating as well.

No file in the submission post. it gets deleted.

Also...

I would like to see 7zip (7z) as in alternative to zip and rar.

I don't like uploading a 7z inside a rar file.

I thought they originally had that, or atleast something similar to that when I first signed up to GTA Garage.

We still do, but the mods are already visible pending approval (although without screenshots and files).
We do allow mods created without uploads to enable reporting progress, and getting feedback on ideas and screenshots.

I agree that it would be handy if people could change their rating for a certain mod.
This would especially handy of modders create updates or new versions of their mod.

But I can't make any promise if or when this gets implemented.

Thanks for taking notice and reporting it to whoever is the Main Man (or Woman) that works on things like that.

- Also do you think it is possible for them to add a little notice saying that screens have been uploaded and are awaiting approval like there is for files?
