Hello Everyone..!!!! Its Cell

How do i create MVL cars for GTA Vice City by 3ds max i know but i need a detailed explanation about how to create XML and Coll Files and for Converting GTA SA cars in GTA vice city forms..!!!!! about dff and txd little explanation is enough...!!!!!

All you need is the normal TXD, DFF and COL that you would use for any GTA Vice City/ San Andreas car and just make a 7zip archive with them all in it and with the MVL XML, you can get existing vehicle collision files from the Vice City folder, or if it is an existing SA DFF it will have the collision built into the DFF, I can give further info if you need it about the collision, now the MVL Vehicle XML Files, I have made a Javascript Web App that allows you to build new MVL XML Files by either entering existing Handling lines and hitting the convert button or by entering all the values manually and if you have a compatible browser you can also save the file.

It was a little time consuming but still easy, I opened the Oceanic Model in 3DS Max, then carefully cut the vehicle down the middle then moved the two halves away from each other, I then made a duplicate of the door models and modified them to fill in the gap between the two ends, and also patched the roof and floor together.

Quite simple, but still kinda complex.

What about belmont..??? and if i want a GTA SA car to VC then i will have to get the Coll File of GTA Sa car converted to VC...or Something like that...??? smile.gif smile.gif

Maxo has made it so if you have a San Andreas .DFF file it will read the COL(ission) file from that, so you only need the TXD, DFF and the XML, also do note that for San Andreas vehicles you will need to place a special "SA_Vehicle.TXD" in the "MVL/Vehicles" folder so all the generic SA Textures will still work on your vehicle.

(You can download the SA_Vehicle TXD In this mod http://www.gtagarage...how.php?id=5634 just download the file called "SA_Vehicle TXD")

The Belmont was basically just the reverse of the Oceanic Stretch, I cut the Stretch at each of the doors, deleted the middle section and then merged the two bits together.

One thing about 3ds max when i 2le click the Short Cut it does'nt loads which can be fixed by Maxstart.max file which i dont have or i dont know where it is located can you give me a link to download that...???

No it is not exactly downloadable, the offline version is the one I work with to build a new version which I will keep to myself til I feel it is ready for other people to analyze my code and improve it, at which point I will also try and make a proper offline version with as much as possible integrated into a single file.

You could be waiting a couple month, to perhaps years so perhaps stick to the online version.

I am not finished developing it yet so there wont be a final offline version for some time still.

I tried to Modify the xml but nothing happened its just locked also i created a new winrar Archive and put the car files in it but in game it didnt support..!!

You need to download http://www.7-zip.org/ as MVL will only read a .7z archive for the data.

Mr Almost 610 i've created an MVL version of your Standard Hotring Racer car...Should i post in some other website...??

But the problem is i cannot make MVL versions of Standard Hotring Racer A and B..I made them through these steps but MVL did not support.

1. extracted the files(COL, TXD, DFF) to D:\..
2. Renamed them all to Hotrina ad Hotrinb respectively.
3. Took Hotrina and Hotrinb XML files from vlist folder and then combined all the files into a 7z archive.

That Did not Support Message Log Shows this..

Error in ModelRequested: Loading clump from '
Error in InitZipMod: Error in DFF file '
Error in InitVehicles: Could not load vehicle from 'mvl\vehicles\Hotrina.7z'.

They are my car mods, if you can't get them working in MVL it is not my problem as they have not been made for MVL, you have no permission to release my mods, do not place them on other sites or you will face consequences.

When I decide to make MVL Support for those vehicles, I will, while I am on the subject I will rebuild them again before that happens as I am not entirely happy with some things about them.
