Can you survive the brutality?
The basic rules of Lockdown, is there are a small group of 2-6 street racers, and the remaining are Bounty Hunters, who are essentially police. Street Racers will have access to any vehicle of choice, such as a Turismo, Sultan RS, or they can request a short period of time to wait for their favourite vehicle to spawn, such as the Infernus or Coquette.
The Bounty Hunters job is to intercept the street race by any means. even if that mean access to a helicopter or APC to set up a roadblock, however, place wisely as the street racers can take detours.
Team roles will be further explained later down the page.
The scoring system allows everyone to have a fair advantage.
The race winner gains 8 points, and for the Guardians (the Guardian will be explained in the Rebels section) and the Bounty Hunters, they're awarded one point per kill towards ANY Rebel. If a Bounty Hunter kills a marked man, they win the game.
The Rebels are a group of street racers holding a major street race around Liberty City.
There is no definitive route for these racers, however they must reach the meet spot, which is the top floor of the airport car park. The race begins at the garage in North Alderney, most commonly known as the Sultan RS spawnpoint.
To assist the racers in keeping officers away from the race, there will be Guardians. Guardians are granted access to a motorcycle or fast car, to try and take down the Bounty Hunters.
Guardians also own one Buzzard. These are recommend for roadblock demolitions, which means that APC operators are advised to stay mobile or set up roadblocks in tunnels.
However, the playing field is evened for APC operators, as they will have a pilot on their team, operating an Annihilator.
Buzzard pilots are recommended to focus fire on roadblocks and helicopters and interceptors which are not near a racer, as firing on an Interceptor nearby a Racer risks splash damage, shutting down the racer.
If you accidentally shut down a racer, you are then a marked man, and if a Bounty Hunter takes you down, they will instantly win the game.
Guardian Footsoldiers are granted access to a fully loaded assault rifle and rocket launcher. They are given no pistols or SMGs, meaning they should focus on destroying roadblocks and taking down helicopters, rather than taking down Interceptors.

The Bounty Hunters are a special task force, focused on ending street racing in Liberty City. They are granted access to special squad cars, known as the Stinger, and various military equipment such as attack helicopters and APCs.
They are granted access to any number of Police Stingers. The drivers of these will set themselves up on a road that will most likely be well travelled, such as a bridge.
Interceptors are given a fast vehicle, which evens the playing field. The job of the interceptors isn't to kill, it is to shut down their vehicle by ramming it off to the road, or by slowing them down, allowing an APC to catch up, and fire their cannon to disable the vehicle.
The Bounty Hunters are granted access to 2 APCs. APCs can set themselves up anywhere in the city, but beware, Guardians have access to a Buzzard, meaning your roadblock can be short lived. APC operators are advised to set up in a tunnel, or to stay mobile and avoid Buzzard fire.
Bounty Hunters also own one Annihilator, as their answer to the Rebel's Buzzards. You may attempt to take down a racer with your turrets, but this may not work due to the fact Racers can squeeze through tight alleyways and avoid you completely. Focus on the Guardians.
