I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who had trouble with that mission. It wants you to fly so low, numerous of times I've crashed into the SF ocean, hit those big polls in the airport, because of delay appearing. And even when your low the bar still increases.

I had no issue with the ocean part but I've crashed several times near SF airport, but when I took the easy way (ocean) no crashes...

Ya. But taking the ocean way is longer.

Maybe you just need patience - it's very easy to do if you have that.

Some months ago on my PC. My plan was to play it more as the release of GTA V in the spring would near, but now... I might just cry by starting the game.

It's actually easy to do it even with the time limit... I DON't like that time limited missions either, but if you take ocean way - you can get it done easier than worrying about going over the "limit" thru the desert canyons, etc.

Plane missions don't really bother me, on both PS2 and PC. I was expecting to suck at the missions on PC after seeing all the Supply Lines and Learning to Fly SnP's out there. The only flying mission I don't like is Vertical Bird.

I took an awkward way when doing it yesterday which worked for me, I left Verdant Meadows, over Sherman Dam and then swerving under and over bridges on the river leading from the Dam heading towards Easter Bay Airport, then round the back of Mt. Chiliad next to the ocean, then through Angel Pine and following the ocean round to Los Santos, flying by the river next to RS Haul, then cutting through Red County and Fort Carson before narrowly avoiding Area 69 and landing back at the runway safely. Although I did clip a wing on a canyon near Sherman Dam on my way out to Angel Pine.

The time limit is very lenient, I could probably hug the LV and LS coast on my way round and still make it back with time to spare.

Anyway, back on topic, I played it this afternoon, doing 'Fender Ketchup' for the Chain Game.

The only thing I hated about Vertical Bird was the handling, it was horrible. And the speed was terriable.

In my experience, all of the flying missions (New Model Army, learning to fly, N.O.E., Black Project, Green Goo, Dam and Blast, Up Up and Away, Freefall, Saint Marks Bistro and Vertical Bird) are easy compared to Supply Lines.

Well... Gree Goo & Black Project you weren't in planes, you were in the Jetpack.

I agree though. Supply Lines was a hard mission.

But whether it's a jetpack, helicopter, airplane or RC plane, it's still flying. Airplanes and RC planes are fast but fragile. Helicopters and the jetpack is slow but more durable. Wow, I don't know what aircraft I like best or worst. I guess it just depends on the objective.

I played SA on the PC yesterday evening, and actually added some mods as I was able to unlock my copy. I only realised how nice the Las Vanturas Las Vegas strip looks. Three times better than the PS2 copy.

I also was only aware that Mr whoopee was a real character via a youtube clip. dontgetit.gif I had never really bothered with the Ice cream vehicle in this sequel to notice that. It's in the moving versions of it.

I haven't played this game in maybe 2-3 years or something. One reason is that I have bought and played so many PS3 games during the last few years. And nowadays I don't have much time over for video games although that's not always the case. I'm absolutely sure that there will be more San Andreas for me in the future though.

I just bought an old PS2 chunky off some website i started playing GTA San Andreas again which i originally got in 2004 the same game disc when i was 14 and wow it still blows me away there is so much to do, and the game is so f*cking fun, blowing crap up, the homies in grove street, for LIFE!, it's really fun. tons of customization and great varied missions, tons of side missions and vehicle games like home robberies etc. f*cking epic i have discovered a ton of stuff i never even saw before. What i love is the attention to detail and the huge amount of mini games and stuff you can do. Graphics are not everything this is still a brilliant game i love it. 360 aint being used now i got my PS2.

And that's why it's the most played GTA to this day. Just as much as GTA IV.
BTW I'm jealous of PS2 timecycle. PC version looks so blend.

I only have a copy of the PC version. Which is fine. I only bought the copy for the PC only for some small editing a few years back.

But yes the PS2 did have some advantages, graphical appearance being one. My PS2 is now long gone, and so is the copy I had.

Haven't played the game in the past 2 weeks or so. But in my opinion it's better than IV by 50 miles or so.

if you mean: last time on PS2 I may break the record of STOP PLAYING ON IT!!!seriously since I get my hands on the PC (*check*: laptop) I stopped playing it on the PS2 *my logic* PS2 controlling is ten-times easier than the PC...can't control the hydra in PS2 while can smash it on ANOTHER hydra in mid-air (and that by accident happened to me on PC when a hydra *like a blind bat* smashed on my tail without any reason!) you're either gonna laugh to death or just not gonna believe me but I SWEAR:
one day after getting the upper hand at playing in on LAPTOP, I returned again to PS2 I took a hydra (want to pick a dog-fight with all-out blind-like-a-bat hydras!!) I didn't even know how to control it! (although I beat the game on PS2 at-least 4 or 5 times!) anyway the weather was bad (about light and such...maybe very sunny? not sure) after destroying about two or three hydras....one blind-like-a-bat hydra want a head-on collision with me! I didn't see it infront of me 'cause of the weather....and sudduntly BAAAM! head-on collision with another hydra!

I haven't played San Andreas since I bought IV in 2009/2010, which is kinda strange because I played III and Vice City earlier this year.

I love San Andreas, it's my second favorite GTA after IV, so I really should play it again sometime..
