Yes, I registered here recently but development did not begin yesterday, so I was not registered before.

Screenshots have been made a long time now, much has been corrected and added.

A little later, will be full of information and new screenshots.

What did you developed exaclty ? To me, it's 100% Vice City RAGE mod.

We have two ways but we do not guarantee anything but the work is, as I mentioned this to accomplish your goal blizzhayshie days now comes the test multiplayer.

@Team, just admit you are using VCR as a base and are expanding it with multiplayer and whatever, denying it just makes you look bad and noone will take you serious.

Yes, actually he does. And so would I at the moment, screenshots are indentical to VCRAGE (timecyc, map...)

Woah amigos, hold the phone for a minute, let me figure something out...this is Vice City Rage, but with multiplayer, right? What plans do you have for multiplayer, and how will it be different from IV's multiplayer?

Converting maps from III era GTA games is very, very, very easy. It's not yours, neither it's VCR's, because it's Rockstars.

The harder part, and the custom part, is to use the Rage resources correctly and recreate the atmoshphere.

You already took VCR's timecyc (at least the 2nd screenshot is) and RCJ confirmed it's his normal map on that grass,

So, even if you converted the map on your own, you are still using custom content by former 'Rage team' and not your own.


EDIT: Also note how dark the palm trees are on the first screenshot, check if you removed the vertex color.

Yes. And I guess materials of these palms has a default shader. There are square shadows on the ground.

If he had not said "completely new" in his first post, then I don't think people would be as skeptical as they currently are.
You really need to show the "new" or at least different (to vcr) for this project to build some cred.

If he stole it, I think a better approach would be to ask the VCR team for permission. If he did that, and they granted it, I guess VCR is back in business.

But if this is stolen, I worry about where the MP crack was taken from.

Adam953 claims (in PM) to be basing this on VCR, and that he has permission from all VCR contributors to do so.
I'm opening this topic, in good faith.
If the VCR team (or any author) does not agree (or give no permission), drop me a line and I close it again,

I hope this turns into a continuation of VCR, if the content is stolen. However I don't think the VCR team will take too kindly to that.

One thing I would like to see is the 10th Anniversary Edition's detail maps used in IV. That would be impressive to look at as they already look good on VC 10th Anniversary, but additionally with GTA IV's shading applied to them.

But I don't feel like any miracles will happen here.
