Can someone tell me if the gtavc.set hex values work on V1.3? If not, what are the V1.3 hex values.

Never before seen GTAIII Mulitplayer maps by R*
This vault map was made by R* in 2002, after the ps2 release but before GTAIII's PC release date. GTAIII TA's iOS files have multi1/2/3/4/5 files, this is multi4 converted to VC (i did that 'cos less game limits).

I found these about a year ago, only recently put them in-game.

Wow, interesting to see really as any MP stuff they did later was based on the actual map with no specially made maps for deathmatch or anything, that's really an impressive find.

You should release your work.

Also maybe a TC mod like SALC or GTA United could put the MP maps in the game, connect it to the GTA III LC.

I wouldn't call what i've done so far as much work because it was just basically dragging + dropping the files from ios gtaiii to a mapcleaned vc ios.
Once we've got a few months of content in the mod, then that's worth releasing. smile.gif

Silent offered to do some missions for the maps so i'm gonna contribute with some new models and a new III-era map, same theme as GTAIII, with inspiration from MH's Carcer City, MH2's Cottonmouth, probably gonna be an Up-State LC type deal. biggrin.gif

GTAU and SALC are welcome to use the original gtaiii ios files in their mods if they want, not need for me being a proxy. tounge.gif

So LC + Upstate San Andreas like type of deal? Always dreamed of the idea. So what game are you doing it on? I'd recommend SA because its supposed to be in the III era.

I think someone could make a add on for GTA LC or SA:LC. The maps would need to be up in the sky then a Cleo to teleport you to them. For SA:LC it could just be a yellow interior marker.

But for VC, can you add the maps with out replacing VC and with out hacking the limits so it can be done on mobile? You may need to move them though. I hope someone figures out how to hack the limits on the iOS and Android one.

This level is in the scaffold-covered building. It's designed to be seen from inside so the islands are LOD and it doesn't have any lower part to the building.

I got a little suggestion: If you will also use MH2 resources you could use the models from the MH2 Downtown level for this city. It also has a nice skyscraper with interiors which could probably be used for a mission.

So there's more to the cancelled MP mode than just localisation strings in the .GXT files, aye? Was the would-be multiplayer mode in GTA3 intended to be set in maps separate from the main world?

@DP, yeah i might use some of the MH2 models if i can conveniently import them to 3dsmax.

@LPG, it seems from the way the MP data files look that MP on GTAIII would load the generic.ide+col and the multi(number) ide+ipl+col without any of the SP map yeah.

I like the idea. However I think it would be better if you made a new section of LC behind the cliffs north of the map. You could put the MP maps in that spot, and maybe some country side. Ofcorse the maps would need small changes so they can connect together in a open world form. But Ghostown could also be part of the new district. I think that would be much better, and would go along with the GTA cannon. If its a heavily altered GTA map, then its not in the III universe, as I told the SOL and LCS PC Edition team.

Also, you guys never said what GTA your making it on. Is it on VC 10A?

Modding this game on Android OS is annoying. I have a Galaxy S4.

1. ThirteenAG's launcher with the height limit fix doesn't install. It does install if VC isn't installed, however its not the full game. It doesn't work. If it is installed, it claims that the name and verification don't match. I sure hope I can install the launcher. The regular height limit in VC sucks, and it makes the Aircraft not fun at all.
2. Extracting the odd file to the location specified in the first post doesn't do sh*t except waste space.
3. My iOS saves don't work (not really an issue, scm differences is why, I can download saves, plus the game is a great game and worth replaying again.)
Can someone help?

I used that launcher before I accidentally reset my phone. I installed VC 1.03 and then his apk and it worked. Where did you get the game from? Google play or some "interesting" sites wink.gif ? Check if you've got the right VC version.
