The world of the Psychedelic is my second home. Try Tame Impala on for size.

These guys, The Sizlacks, are fairly new and underground, but their music is freakin' awesome.

i Think they are considered more prog then psychedelic rock, but tripping in the wilderness with this album in particular is one of my favorite teenage memories!

All the the Zappa posted here so far has also played a big part of my life in that sense, brought back some great memories!

This band is called Turbowolf, from England. They aren't psychedelic per se, but that's how the big names from the 70's would do it if they were a modern band.

They also covered Somebody to love from Jefferson Airplane...

This is "Read + Write"

Thi is "solid gold" latest single from the new upcoming album. Beast of a song. very weird video

That isn't good Psychedelic Rock. I know you did acknowledge that but still, keep it Psychedelic please. Don't wanna feel like I'm 12 years old at the youth club with loads of skaters listening to Blink 182.

Crystal Chandelier - Suicidal flowers (1969)
Heavy garage psych with tons of fuzz. Jim Morrison like vocals.

Fever Tree - The time is now (1969)
Slow almost haunting acid type psychedelic piece.

Hardwater - Monday (1968)
A tad of psychedelia with nice vocal harmonies.

J.K. & Co. - Fly (1968)
Written by a 15 year old kid at the time. Very dreamy and laid back.

Tides in - Trip with me (1966)
Early garage psych.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yi2eTF78yHQ

The Factory - Path through the forest (1968)
Really just good trippy British psych. One of my new favorites.

Not sure why the last 4 songs only the links came up. Can't seem to fix it.

This song has proven to be one of my favourites, i love a good freak out in a song, sadly it's something missing from music these days.

As I love Pink Floyd and reggae music, I absolutely adore this album.

It isn't psychedelic rock in general, but rather psychedelic reggae.

Still amazing.

6 Psych 7's of mine.

Still quite a few more illusive ones I'm keen to get.

EDIT: Picked up that Mijji: Front Office record mid last year. It has the Wow track i posted in the OP on side B, Girl is side A to that single.

ok so I see a lot of classic psychedelic rock.

what about newer psychedelic rock?

I know it's not quite on-par with Floyd or Cream but it's also not 50 years old, for reference sake.

To be honest i wouldn't consider that psychedelic rock or even rock. Sounds like some kind of dance music.

for newer stuff, i suppose you could try The Alabaster Mushroom (from the 90's) or maybe Acid Mother Temple? (More recent) Maybe even Weird Owl? There are many more but I'm more into the classic psych rock with just a few new/newer artists in my playlists.

people don't really 'dance' to Boombox.

they're not played in clubs.

they play live music based completely around the electric guitar.

how is it not psych rock?

Not sure if I wholeheartedly agree with peoples' defination of "psychadelic," but that's how it goes...

I see someone's already got Acid Mother's Temple in here, although it seems to have flown under the wire.

You should really, really delve into the various subacts' under the AMT banner; they've literally done something for everyone. I can only really get into the .AMT and the Comsic Inferno records, and even then they're spotty but it's all really quite fanstastic.

You shouldn't underestimate the earllier Funkadelic records, though. Again, it's a mixed bag of stuff that goes all over the map, but it's pretty much what you want if you're looking for "psychadelic."

The one I'm surprised isn't in here is Hawkwind; you can't really go wrong there especially as Bob Calvert's writing ascended in importance to what they were doing. The easiest way to really understand is to listen to all of Space Ritual, and just let yourself go into it.

However, it can (and is) rather jambandy at times because that's part of the magic fuel that powered Hawkwind. That's from someone who f*cking hates jambands, fwiw.

or even

CAN has the ability to flop around various genres, and I'm sure as sh*t not making recommendations for you outside of Tago Mago, but the first two sides are pretty tight. Specifically, the magnum opus of the album:
