anyone knows where i can watch the live event and what time does the event actually start?

You will be able to watch it on the Xbox website and on your console. Time for me (London) is 5pm.

Infinity seems more fitting than 720. Probably what it'll be. I just want to see the reveal already. Along with Ghosts. Eleven days until the event.

Are they revealing Ghosts on the same day?! sh*t, I'm behind on the times. Even more cant wait now. tounge.gif

Yes sir. Gameplay was going to be revealed late April, but MS pushed the event back with their reveal. So that's why we have that silly ass teaser trailer until then.

I have the day off for the event so I'll be kickin' back with a brew or two enjoying it. And about the name of the Xbox, I don't really care. Infinity may be fake, but it would be a nice name. Either way, I don't care. It could be called Xbox Dildotron for all I care. Bring on the event. Should be good watching.

Oh, stumbled upon this rather alarming, old news.

Part of nextBox perhaps?

Honestly I really would rather get a PS4 next time but I will not miss out on Alan Wake 2 and I don't have space or money for two consoles. So I'm hoping that either Alan Wake 2 is multi format, or MS have a renewed commitment to delivering quality games aimed at the core gamer. I want some AAA single player games.

I really hope they don't change the control. To me it is the perfect controller on the 360. I know people want new and exciting when it comes to brand new hardware, which is totally understandable i am the same, but "if its not broke don't fix it" Springs to mind when as far as the controller is concerned.

Yeah the controllers are pretty much perfect, the only thing they should change is the batteries, no more AAs and make it rechargeable. icon14.gif

My only problem ^^

I can easily spend over $300 dollars a year with the batteries I use.

The $30 dollar charger with double battery combo is an easy fix for that. Of course having them come with rechargeables would be a bonus, it's not a big deal to me. So long as my rechargeables still work.

Keep the controller the same for sure.

Glad i am not alone on the controller not changing idea. And the batteries are annoying, but what was more annoying was paying 13 for a charge and play kit that didn't charge the control. devil.gif

I go on Ebay for batteries, i got 24 Duracell ones for 6. Which is really good considering the prices shops charge. Agree that rechargeable batteries would be so much better though.

I do have a play and charge kit, but I've had bad luck with the cables, and I'm too lazy to order the batter pack charger stand. tounge.gif

Batteries aren't a problem for me, I prefer wired controllers anyway. What still does my head in is the atrocious d-pad. I actually bought a modded controller with a different d-pad. They have to change that thing.

I bought 2 pairs of these some time ago, haven't spent a dime on batteries since. Although I didn't actually fork out the money for them until after the batteries in 3 of my 4 controllers ran out in the middle of the night during an endurance PES session with my buddies tounge.gif

What's wrong with it?

The cover that goes over the buttons doesn't fit properly so it shifts around. If it shifted for example all the way to the left, the "left" directional button presses don't register properly. I've had this problem with every single controller I've had so far (and I've had a few).

The only reason I would still buy an Xbox 720 is the controller. I hate the PS controller and the triggers on the xbox are way better.

But atm im going for PS4 because of the hardware and how its build. ( i red several articles from guys who really know what they talkin about as they work with such stuff and get the idea about the advantages of an closed system. And they said that the 8GB GDDR5 and the way the other components will work makes the PS4 way superior to the latest xbox leaks.

So the only way MS can get me back is by having a structure and similar hardware. And people dont need to say now that they will be in par like last gen. No! PS3 would have been way better in raw power if they wouldnt have used CELL.
My guess is that MS will go for social stuff and more features and less "gaming only". Therefore they will have good hrdware but I cant imagine that they will use the same 8GB Ram as they even have to pay for the blu ray licenses to Sony and Co..
So Sony gets pushed even when Xboxes get sold. Although its only a small amount.

Did the "twist up" D-pad on the newer controls not help you? I have personally never used the new D-pad but i have heard some good things about it.

Here is a photo just incase anyone don't have a clue what im talking about tounge.gif

Oh sh*t i had never seen or heard about an issue like that. That is not even a small minor issue, which is shocking considering that particular controller was like 60 when it was new.

I have the standing charger and two batteries so one is always ready for a swap out. Not to mention multiple AA rechargeables we have. So yeah, no big deal to me. And those controllers are extremely durable. I've used the same two for about four years no problem.

I got this one for over 1 year already and no problems at all and I turned the DPAD several time.

@ Porn Service

Wont use it anyways but probably Parents will use the Parental Controll on the consoles finally and we dont have to play with these 14 year old annoying kiddies anymore in Shooters
