I know this is an old thread but I feel like it's okay to revive it since the game recently released in it's full state (well...in April).

I just picked it up and played it for nearly 3 hours. Something I haven't done with a game during one session in a very long time. It's incredibly fun and there are new content updates on a regular basis.

I think anyone that games on PC should pick this up. It's very much a survival game and you'll have a fun time setting up your base-camp in the beginning while trying to get enough food and not die. lol.gif

I have a friend working on this game, and he says lots of fun stuff are to come.

On the game, it's very brutal but awesome. The art style works great, the mechanics are very solid, and there's a whole lot of discovery in this game, as well as funny bits. I befriended a pig man after helping him deal with some spiders. Then he started following me everywhere, and helping me in fights and stuff. Once we encountered two badass dog things, and he sacrificed himself to save me (or rather, I kited the dogs while they attacked him). I then proceeded to take his meat and cook it and eat it. And it was good.

But yes, if you're into open ended stuff, with a lot of things to do, do get this game. You will not regret it.

I got the game expecting to be playing about an hour at a time just like Minecraft but I ended up staying up last night way past my usual self on weekdays and continued on today, extremely addicting game and I'm not even that far into it.

Great game and loving the weekly updates

I got my PS4 today and saw this game in the PS Store, or what its name is (sorry, I'm a total PS newbie).

Anyone who played it may please answer me one question: Is this game long-time motivating and keeps you busy some time or is it more a short pleasure in your opinion?

I can only speak from my personal experience, but I was hooked on this game for a couple of weeks and played the absolute sh*t out of it. It really depends on what you're looking for in a game. I'd say it was short lived but intense. Also, I played an earlier build so I'm sure even more has been added to the game by now.
