It dawned upon me when I was viewing a topic a while back only to find a gay-porn GIF that we should probably have approved-image sites such as imgur. This means that unless the image is uploaded by the approved site, then the image to be only shown as a link.

Pros (that I can think of):
- Strongly reduces possibility of unwanted images to be viewed onto the website.
- Keeps our eyes mostly safe

Cons (that I can think of):
- Reduces liberty in the forum
- Plagues people with having to upload their image to a trusted-image processing place.

What do you all think? By the way, I searched the forums and didn't find anything that related to this.

Blocking images from certain image hosts is pointless. Yeah, it might cause it to get blocked the first time it gets posted but they're quickly going to realized all they have to do is upload it another host. We're pretty quick on dealing with the gay porn spammers when they come here, so it seems rather unnecessary to require everyone to conform to a single specified image host all because of a few people.

Yes, one isolated case means the entire forum should be put under some useless arbitrary rule that makes it harder to utilize at large. Report the sh*t when you see it and move on.

Boo hoo, you saw porn, grow up. Not everything needs have dumb rules in place in order to work properly. The system, as it is now, works; there's no need to change anything.

What could be put in place though is a filter for some of these sites because even though I know they're mostly different, some images come from the same places. But well, the ACP is held by duct tape.

Why are you acting like this? I bring up a simple suggestion and you go off. I posted this idea because I thought it'd be neat, not to be insulted. I'm very surprised at how a veteran GTAForums member treats other people.

@Spider-Vice Yeah, it makes more sense just to block certain sites reputable of it. I only saw this idea as plausible since another forum I know of uses it.

Oh well.
