I refuse to sully our good forum with its images, but who's seen what Maserati have done to the only car worthy of my single garage?

A stretched Infiniti, with Audi lights, a Lexus dash and a BMW steering wheel.

And diesel engine.

I wasn't so sure about it at first, but I kinda like it... it looks pretty nice from the rear. The front end is a bit awkward though.

As for the interior, personally I think its far better than the old Quattroportes... but I do agree it does look a bit like they rummaged through the Lexus/Toyota parts bin.

Depends on which model your talking about.
The stock front looks funny, but I do like the look of the GT S

Hopefully, America's unexplained unpopularity of diesel cars pays off in this instance.

Doesn't seem like much of an exotic compared to the last one. Does seem like it's kind of adopted every other generic styling trend of 'regular' cars.

I've seen it and...
erm, I really don't like it. At all.
Let's hope they don't screw up the GranTurismo when it get's due for it's redesign.

Those headlights don't look nearly as good as the Audi's, Audi's is way better.
But god look at that rear! barf8bd.gif
It looks like they took a 2012 Mercedes E63 rear and bloated it. Seriously, the rear looks too much like the E63's.

Headlights remind me of the old CLS. Not a pretty sight but I'll reserve judgement until I see one in person.

@visionist: You pretty much nailed the similarities.

Hey, at least it's not as bad as this

But then again Bentley axed their monstrosity, whereas the Quattroporte is still a good-looking enough car to market so will continue into production.

I guess you'll just have to wait for the next generation.

They did went back to the drawing board with that thing. There will be another Bentley SUV in no time flat.

^This.

My bad, by axing I meant they were killing the design, not the segment. There is no doubt we will see a Bentley SUV eventually.

Those wheels made me a little sick in my mouth. They're like E34 M5 turbine wheel covers, but...wrong.

I actually kinda like those wheels, they remind me of Ronals and the old Golf GTI Slot wheels. I'm not so sure they actually match the car though.

I agree. I think these fit the car a bit more:

My word that looks horrible...

Although I never quite loved the appearance of the Quattroporte V, I did admire it's originality and elegance. The Quattroporte VI looks like a horrid blend of less elegant vehicles, creating a poor overall appearance. Whoever designed that should be put in prison.

Looks like a more "true" successor to the MK IV Quattroprte in terms of design if you ask me. I'm still not a fan of those rear lights though

The older Quattroporte was such a nice looking car. This, well, I guess I'll have too see it in person as there's a Maserati/Ferrari/Alfa Romeo (what a combo) dealership not to far from where I live.
