|That's a sign of bad mastering\mixing because in other parts I seem to hear the kick on all four notes.|
Well that may be the sidechaining too. I kinda sidechained everything.

| Hey fella's like metal, check out my band!|
That's tight, I'd love to hear it with bass + decent recording quality but it's 100% tight. Between the chunky riffs and the breakdown it's ace.
I'm also releasing a new E.P with my band soon (30-11-12) with a single.
Already released the single which can be downloaded for free.
Clicky, click buy now and put the price as 0.

Hey guys, it took me four months to put this together, I know its a bit late but what do you think?
Posted 07 November 2012 - 11:59 PM
The dancey bit at the start is really, commercial and pop sounding. It's a really tired and over used synth-saw/dance music sound that you find on all those dance chart music compilations you hear.
It sounds like two tracks. Sliced in 4 pieces altogether. Dance bit, Dubstep but, dance bit Dubstep bit) Mix it up. Be more experimental. Throw your listener off. Don't be so predictable.
When I listened to Dubstep about 5 years ago, I went to see Skream at a festival in my country. It was still kinda underground (internationally) but it was probably more popular in the UK but still retaining an underground vibe. It was for creative people, pushing boundaries and making these crazy sounds and pushing the limits. Now it's gone pop and some people have made it in to the sort of music I despise.
Be creative. Add your own style to it. Be progressive. Don't try sound like anyone too much. Surprise your listeners. Steer away from the mainstream sound. There's so much of it. Aim to be appreciated by other producers and not just listeners.
You have talent. It sounds decent. I wish I could create better music these days. I used to produce music but not any one type of genre. I tried mixing all my influences from Funk, Hip Hop to Electronica and Classical.
Some of that stuff may be subjective. Take it how it is.
Best of luck.

My mate made the beats on this LP on the MPC 60 and Ensoniq EPS 16+.
It's coming out on the 21st of November, it's available to pre-order now, limited edition 12" vinyl , screen printed covers and all hand numbered. Pre-ordering will also get you an A3 poster printed on 220 msg card, Under The Sun Records, ESM Clothing and Squared Roots stickers, the choice of 5 tracks to download immediately in a format of your choice, and a link to the complete album emailed to you upon release.
So yeah me and my mate are from Dorset, England. Let us know what you think! If you checked it out then cheers for supporting! If you pre-ordered, then thank you, you legend. If you like this, expect more releases from UTS Records in the future, and if you want to hear more beats by George Fields, just search for George Fields or Prevent (his alter ego.)

The rest sounds good though, just like any other dubstep anyway.

Thanks for the feedback guys, the 'Dancey bit at the start' was actually a sample from the vengeance pack VOL 3, since I couldn't think of an intro so I added that.
Cheers for the criticism though

I have a solo project I've been working on and off for a while called Anedonia: it's a post Black Metal project in the vein of bands like Lantlôs and Alcest. I'll update this post with some links as soon as I can.
Also: I'd like to be added to the OP if that's no issue, but I don't have an official site: I deactivated my FB account so yeah lol. It's kind of dead atm but I'm hoping to release an EP for a very low price on Bandcamp (maybe even a split, who knows).
And if anyone needs any help writing death metal music I can give you a hand, or maybe program some drums (although I'm guessing noone will want to).
EDIT: Here it is:
This is just a promo version I did for of my classes. I expect to re-record this track plus 3 new ones (adding up to 27 minutes of material) and release it next year, like I mentioned previously.
I also have a SoundCloud: It has the additional 3 tracks that I plan to record in GP6 format. My favourite atm is Untitled #2 (haven't thought of names to them yet) and it might represent the next direction of this project: more post-rock, more experimentation and dissonance.
I also uploaded a little grindcore thing that I did to practice my recording skills.
EDIT: After reading the OP more carefully:

Just maybe turn down the bassline a bit? It seems to really drown out the rest of the sounds when it hits. Other than that, nice!

I made that in early 2011 and since then I've had to factory reset my computer a couple of times so I don't actually have the .flp file to edit anything, all I have is the export!
