I've done a Myers Briggs test when I applied for a job a couple of years ago. It said INTJ. The shrink told me a bunch of stuff that ultimately boiled down to preferring to work alone. Which is true, but I'm not that inflexible. But they were looking for a people person, so I didn't get the job. Seriously? f*ck psychology.

Oh, I'm way more of an introvert than 44%... ISFP is common throughout "the artists", a shrink said the same to me, I had a vein of an artist mercie_blink.gif

I've taken the 'legitimate' 200+ question test before, I got ISTP.

It seems like most people get introversion, the test probably needs to be revised.

Pretty sure I used to be INTJ but it looks like there isn't a big difference now, because I can be both. Sometimes I can be really loud and outgoing and others I'm just like, f*ck it, I can't be bothered.

Same result I always get, high extroversion with similarly high thinking and ideas emphasis over facts or emotion... perceiving (or spontaneity) is generally lower than it usually is this time around but I was rushing. When I've looked up descriptions of the ENTP type it has been startling accurate, so I'm sure this is me. I'd recommend typing in your personality type into google, they give some great analysis of those types and they usually ring true.

People tend to think that they're very introverted when they're in high school, but what they perceive as a permanent personality trait is really just them reacting to their peers, if that makes sense. Or maybe you aren't in high school and the test is just rubbish.

I've got the following results:

ISTP

You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (33%)
You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (25%)
You have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (25%)
You have moderate preference of Perceiving over Judging (44%)

Which are perfectly correct, coincidence or not.

This site is pretty good, it has tips on how to find a suitable career for yourself, and other good things.

Thanks for the share, mate.

Thought I'd give this a (giant) bump.

Done the test linked in the OP and got this as a result.

eCQrh9O.png

Done another one and got this as a result.

UnQmXFX.png

My results: http://www.41q.com/type.41q?p=14577387

The percentages are much more accurate in the second one.

Anyone who wants to give this second one a go: http://www.41q.com

Interested to see what the results of others are.

My results:

  • You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (100%)
  • You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
  • You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%)
  • You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

Makes sense, I've hated being in social situations since early childhood, and usually feel a strong desire to escape other people and be on my own, so the introversion part doesn't shock me in the slightest. I often go to great lengths to get space away from other people where I am much more comfortable. It'll often get to the point where I actually feel insulted/angry when someone invites or tries to pressure me into going to a party or random event, especially if I've known them for a while given that I usually go out of my way to make it pretty clear to them that I can't stand things like that. If I feel guilt tripped or get made to feel like I'm obligated enough, I might turn up for about 30 minutes to an hour or so before making an excuse and leaving, or sometimes just flat out slipping away.

Genuinely not sure how I got ESTJ.

Looking up what that means, it says I'm a natural leader and a 'pillar of the community', which is, well, wrong.
