Do you think this laptop will be worth to its price? I am sick of this i3 processor and I want to play new games without lags. Desktop and Consoles are off from this chart. I did make some 'gonna buy a new PC' topic but due to my unsatisfactory marks in the Semester, it didn't give a hope. This might be my last chance to buy something good.

Thanks fellas. smile.gif

India? biggrin.gif

Beware the OS Is Free Dos and not windows 7 Free Dos is a completly different OS.So you will have to buy windows 7 and install.

The Video Card is Good not best should be able to run games decently at medium-high settings. smile.gif But the performance will be smooth and decent

My Score an 8/10

Buy a Toshiba L755-S5153. It is a beauty, and it is fast. New ones are shipping with Windows 8. I have a Windows 7 PC.

Windows 8 is a hunk of junk in my opinion interface wise all upgrades thus far have made things easier, 8 makes everything take longer as far as mouse clicks are concerned.

If you want to have a faster operating system go for 8, if you want to have a better interface, go for 7.

Thanks for the reply and yeah, I live in India. Oh, and I am also thinking about this laptop. This is similar to the first one and somewhat similar to what Sgt. Foley is saying. It's cheaper and has Windows 7 installed. This one looks more promising and also has an offer of installing Windows 8.

Yeah, that should be fine too. However, the video card, 7610M, is not better than Asus's GT630M. That's the only con though.

Yeah, It has 4 hours of battery too. smile.gif

Can you afford a GTX 680?If you can get the 2nd and add the GTX 680 To it.

If you can't save up and mange with the current one that should be able to play games decently at Medium Settings at 40 fps smile.gif

EDIT: Sorry the GTX 680 Isn't available in India At the moment confused.gif This is still decent enough to run GTA V at low settings at about 30 fps too.

It's a laptop, that GPU is for desktops. confused.gif You don't always recommend anyone to get a GTX680; it's according to their budget. Also we don't really know anything about GTA V's systems requirements. tounge.gif

@Doctor: I think this laptop is better: Samsung NP350V5C-S06IN Laptop - Rs.54149

3rd gen. i7, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, and 7670M - which I think is the equivalent of an HD 5650.

Yeah, right. Only Chuck Norris knows.
Samsung isn't that good in manufacturing Laptops. They are more famous for Phones. Though, I will ask my Dad about it.

Cheers.

The Samsung is much better than what you posted originally, i would go for that.
Samsung is fine for laptops, all laptops have pretty much the same parts inside, the different manufacturers just put them together in a different order and slap their own case and screen on top of it.
Samsung's warranty can be a hassle though if you need replacements, but i heard Asus is pretty bad for that as well, HP seems to be the only people who are good with customer support from what i hear.

The first three laptops have a resolution of 1366 x 768 but are 15.6". People complain about that resolution on a 13.3" display. I would hate to see it at 15.6". I would look for 1600x900 at that screen size.
