@ccrogers What if I Told You...That this Game is NOT a Direct Port of GTA III And Is Infact A GBA Exclusive 2D Remake ?

Does NOT matter. Its STILL the same game. Learn what "Only on GBA" means then correct me. dozingoff.gif

Again, I personally would be pleased as I don't own GTA Advance as of now...

But even so, this version of GTA III is believed to be exclusive for GBA, made in 2D, as mentioned numerous times by Haashir911. Oh wait, let me guess: you didn't take any time to read through the topic and jumped to answer right after you finished reading the first post, aye?

Shut your food trap. I DID read the whole topic and dont care what that kid says. Its not real. Message the seller, trust me.

@CC Listen, This Version of the Game is NOT A Direct Port of GTA III.
IK As Well that its On Other Platforms But THIS VERSION OF GTA III IS EXCLUSIVE TO THE GBA

Only On GBA Means "Only For Gameboy Advance",
So, I've Seen Many Games that Are For Many Platforms That Say Exclusive.

Dont Trust Me ?
What About The Amazing Spiderman for PS3 ? it Says "Only on Playstation" When its Not,
What About Fifa 13 for PS3 ? It Also Says "Only On Playstation" But its Not

So You See, Each Game Port or Remake Comes With its Own Changes That Make it's Version Exclusive.

So Technically, This Version is not the Same Game and is a Completely Different Version.

That's logical...

I even posted screenshots, so discussion about this subject is little pointless, don't you think Rogers?

You are making Haashir911, Arsen Vitiuk and me inpatient.

Count me in, Filip... I'm getting impatient as well. Just to see who's right in the end.

But even though the game advertised is GTA III, it IS "only for GBA". You can tell that from the Main Menu design and in-game screenshots.

Oh wait! You have the same version of the game on PC? f*cking incredible!

@Arsen: I Mean Seriously, It Might Be For Other Platforms But This Version is a REMAKE, Not A PORT

Hey, more to add: I guess that makes the Mobile version of GTA III an exclusive too: see, although it was ported, the in-game map was added - a feature not present in any other version! So, I guess, that makes the Mobile version exclusive for iOs & Android!!!

That's illogical. The Xbox version has detached fingers but we call it a port not a remake.

The sticker on the cartridge looks really fake. Stickers normally has the company logo, etc... Not just the name of the game.

I woudn't be surprised if it was a pirate version of GTA Advance. Myself I have a pirate version of GTA Advance, the sticker is different and all... Again, that's still cool to own this, only for the support purpose, not for playing the game.

You've contradicted yourself there.

i strongly disagree with you on that. I think the iOS version is just a port. The only change i can think of is the in-game map. there's no way it can be called a platform exclusive!

Forget about the logic, Mr Anon! Hell, the whole world is illogical, what more would you possibly want?

But objectively speaking, Xbox version is just a remodelled PS2/PC version, with not a single new feature added, unlike the Mobile version, where you had the in-game map and the ability to instantly retry a failed mission - features not available in any other version of GTA III - not even on PS3.

What the hell? I didn't know that. That's stupid what a pointless feature and in-game map? Why they didn't add in-game map in recent ps3 version...I even thought about getting iOS version, but I guess I'll stick with pc.

That's because PS3 version is a direct port of PS2 version, only censored - no Rampages, no hookers (at least Linki says so).

Also, on the iOS/Android version you don't lose your weapons when you die which i think is a bit silly.

That is one of the most ridiculous statements ever! MOST games have small changes when they are ported to a different console. IT'S THE SAME GAME. Just because it has small differences doesn't make it an exclusive because then almost ALL games would be 'exclusive' (by your parameters) to at least one platform.

Oh Come On, You Don't Get What I'm Trying to Say, Right ?

I Am Trying to Say that Each Game Has its Own Changes, Minor Changes then Port, Major then Its A Remake.

GTA III GBA is a Remake, So its Practically NOT A Port, Same Game or Not.
It's the Amount of Changes that Matter There

Remember that an exclusive and a remake are two very different things, you keep jumping from one to another in conversation.

So then what would you call the iOS version? There are minor differences but it is not an exclusive (it is almost identical to the original V1 of GTA3) but could be classified as a remake (because it was released 10 years after V1).

And what else were you supposed to think? A Remake and a Port are two different things anyway, but how exactly they differ depends on the position of the observer in this matter. You know what I mean.

The Xbox version of Vice City and San Andreas should be considerated a port, since it has only minor changes from the orginal PS2 version.

But the Xbox version of GTA III should be considerated a remake, because it had SO many improvements, it's like every single texture has been remade from scratch, places like Claude's safehouses and Luigi's club has MUCH more details, the game has more shadows, improved sound effects, improved this, improved that. Hell...
