Error id limit breached

I recently added a new map to gta sa. now it wont load the game i always get this error. does anyone know how to fix this. i didn't delete anything or move anything.

I found some objects with same ids. so i fixed that, now i get this error.

the error was on other_interiors.IPL & landNE.IPL !
please read the error log before post there icon14.gif

the crash info can mean that the ipl is the problem

but it must not, it just says that landNE.IPL was the last loaded file before crash

deload the mod ipl's

give more infos, which Mod have you unstalled? link?

I have this problem aswell, I have made an Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer map mod.

I have installed .txd, .dff, lod.dff and .col file and they seem to be fine. I have added them to "levelmap.ide" and "levelmap.ipl" using ID 19617 and ID19616. Since I have no other map mod installed, those IDs do not exist. However, the game still crashes during the loading screen, giving me the exact same error (Last file loaded: levelmap.ipl)

SA has a max ID limit of 20000 IDE objects, 19999 IDs so sacky's LA will crash.

This is how SA ID's are laid out.

CODE
0 - 19999 (20000) - DFF models defined within IDE files
20000 - 24999 (5000) - TXD archives.
25000 - 25254 (255) - COL collision archives.
25255 - 25510 (256) - IPL Binary IPL files.
25511 - 25574 (64) - DAT files limited to nodes*.dat files 25575 - 25754 (180) - IFP animation archives.
25755 - 26229 (475) - RRR car recordings, carrec*.rrr files
26230 - 26315 (86) - SCM scripts


The engine would have to be recompiled to raise the limit sadly.

Hacking the ID limit would be to complex because of how the ID limit itself is linked to other functions throughout the engine.

It's a spaghetti mess of code. biggrin.gif
