This project will put a totally new re-imagined modern day Las Venturas into your GTAIV/EFLC with new remodelled Venturas buildings from SA, including some props along with newly made objects from scratch!

By the way everyone who takes a look at this project here... I'd like you to know that the map was heavily inspired by this video below:




Ofcourse, it won't be as accurate it was in the video, because, after all it is GTA where we have freedom to re-arrange towns how we want wink.gif

Does this mean making a completely new Las Venturas based on the original one, just more "expanded" and more accurate to the real LV?

yeah its going to be a Las Venturas which plays nowtimes and the map is going be different then LV from San Andreas

Who is doing the textures for the mod? Or are you using stock SA textures?

atm yeah we use SA textures but thats just because the buildings are in the alpha version. As far they have been remodeled we use HD textures.

Reminds me of the old Episodes From The West project. Hopefully this one doesn't die anytime soon.
If this is moved to the present day, I hope there's a Liberty City themed hotel (based on New York New York).

Sounds interesting! I've a couple of questions will you use other palms? Since the ones in the picture look too cartoonish. And why does the V-Rock logo cover the windows? Doesn't see logical to me, since you can't rent those rooms. And which buildings of real life Las Vegas do you plan to create? Looking forward to updates smile.gif

Need for speed Carbon looks much like the video, you could take same ideas from NFS map

No, but it could have been better back than if we all agreed to build LV from ground up like i wanted it in first time icon14.gif
Anyway goodluck mate and i hope you change those textures later biggrin.gif as for roads they should be a bit dark from baken sun and have those white dots instead of lines like in the video tounge.gif

You messed this up, they should be lighter. Where have you seen an old road that is still black?

Maybe light on some places, but on older roads were many cars have driven u see more darker spots of tyres etc.. Kinda like in this video of NFS The Run:

NFS is the last source you should research for realism
They are cool games, but hell fkin unrealistic, game and texture wise

Will the City design be the same (same road/same paths) or will it be different but similar to the original LV?

No, not at all. This is a totally new Las Venturas. We try to make it as realistic as possible, but yet also with that "GTA touch" at the same time. San Andreas buildings are just there for reference for size and placements. Everything will be remodelled, every single vert of them.

Reason why we used SA models first is because it seemed the most smart thing to do as the models were already there, and instead of wasting time starting buildings fresh, we did this
