Annoying bug with Lens Flare

I'm trying out lens flare with a low-end PC ENB that I'm working on... It looks fine with the sun, but a bug occurs with large fires where multiple square white lens flares are generated.

I've tried using multiple effects files (default, overdose, NGE) and tried tweaking lensflare.dat, but the same bug occurs every time. I would really like to know if there is a fix for this, because it's making a great addition unusable due to the fact that white boxes are guaranteed to fly across the screen whenever there's a fire.

For some reason R* enabled lens flare for fire coronas. To disable this, use this code

Or if you want to have correct lens flare for fire, use this
