Angel is right. Add some III/VC/LCS style prelighting on that. It looks bald and bad without it.

Okay, i have some news about the mod. I've been using Snow Mod for base all this time, as you know. But, since i'm getting too many errors with it, i will move the mod over Xbox mod. That way, the city will have basic hd texturing from XBOX version, and we will have a more suitable game with it.

Snow City is using standard PS2 version models, which i got sick of seeing. This will be really good, also, i think i went too far with some changes in this mod. Such as having Toni Cipriani's safehouse, even it's 2001, and it must have been demolished by that time.

So;

* No more time/timing errors,
* No more PS2/PC version models (Textures from this versions are still fine by me)
* No more out-of-place coloring / mapping

I need a REAL GTA III Special Edition, this mod is just getting worse by me wanting to see more colors, and its certainly not right by me.

So this changes only will take like 2 or 3 days, by the time i complete the transition with the mod, i will be releasing an alpha version real quickly. (The only reason i cant release the mod is that, im getting too many errors with it, and i cant fix 'em all. its really taking so many time to finding whats wrong and fixing it.)

okay, so i'm releasing a lite version of this mod, which only changes the original gta3 textures with my textures, timecycle and car colors from this mod. its called "III: Remastered Edition"

you can check the topic, also im uploading the files for it.

i think there is enough space to fit a countryside there because the game still goes pretty far past ghost town and there might be just enough space for another town of some sort, maybe the extension of ghost town smile.gif

I've just finished moving the mod over to Xbox mod. The mod is now better than ever because of  graphics & shadows addition of Xbox version.

 

Textures being remade in 512x512 format. Also many of them re-crated but with in original form, but not like some "lets do it hd, and it will be great" kinda sh*t.

 

More and more models are converted by me and anaconda909090, but i need to get them in to the game and test all of them together for be sure there is no bugs this time. after testings are done, alpha version will be released immediately.

Sounds good. But please try make it seem different. It'll feel pretty immersion breaking if it looks just like the SA countryside.
