Critical acclaim.
Masterpiece.
5 outta 10.
Sarcasm.
Have you seen it? I don't care about review scores for movies ever.

What? You've had it with reboots because of seeing Batman or you've had it with reboots because they're all like Batman? Either statement is stupid but I'd like you to clarify.

Because they're like Batman.
The Amazing Spider-Man. Dark movie, dark implications and ...Product Placement.
Man Of Steel. The S doesn't stand for hope, cause there's literally no hope in the movie. It stands for $.
And this one is ...Don't really need to say.

Never heard of the director, José Padilha.
He did great movies. It is a brazillian director and a pretty respectable one.
sh*t, what the f*ck have they done. Better watch it and see if it is that bad.

So, the RoboCop reboot is set for release in 2013. Now, as a kid, I enjoyed the old Robocop movies and even today, they don't seem cheesy to me at all.
But...
What the f*ck is that?! As someone on FB pointed out, that looks like the bastard son of Judge Dredd and Batman. I had to come here and make a topic about it just to showcase my disappointment.
I mean, I didn't expect them to stick with the original suit, but I certainly didn't expect them to f*ck it up in this manner. I'm also not sure about the human right hand and robotic left hand thing. Never heard of the director, José Padilha, either. I just hope he doesn't do to RoboCop what Schumacher did to Batman.
Fingers crossed.
well with the advance in robotic technology and prosthetics since the old robo cop suit, this one actually seems more practical and of a natural human form. Having said that, I agree it looks stupid, in that picture.
I will have to wait until I can sneak a good copy of it, but I am hoping it will be a decent movie. I personally loved the new Dredd and I highly doubt this will be anything close to that Disney crap Schumacher pulled...
I bet it will be pretty gruesome actually, with how he dies, and the making of robo cop. Somehow, still rated PG-13.... lol.

I enjoyed the RoboCop reboot for what it was. I mean, nothing will ever compare to the original film, it's just an instant classic. You just have to set asside the differences and enjoy it for what it is. If you compare it to the original too much, you will like it even less. I honestly don't think this film had to be made, but what with Hollywood running out of a lot of idea, I guess someone figured, Hey, let's reboot RoboCop! If they were smart, they should have re-release the film in theaters like they did with Jurassic Park. I'm sure it would have garnered more viewers. It was nice seeing Michael Keaton on the big screen again though, so that was a plus. I give it 2 1/2 out of 4 stars. I'd definietelly watch it again, but I won't call it a must-see.
