What is Anderius RAGE ?

Anderius RAGE is a mod that will bring you back to the Alien City, Anderius but this time on the powerful Rockstar Advanced Game Engine used by GTA IV and many others Rockstar's games.

Also, i won't give news until long time. I just created the topic but i'm working hard on 3RC so before i finish it, i won't work on Anderius RAGE (or almost won't).

Any changes you require, let me know.
Before deciding though, imagine yourself using the logo on things like images, wallpapers, as a watermark for videos etc.

I quit my conversion long ago since I came to the conclusion this conversion is pointless. I'm working on VCHD creating own content.

EDIT: so, my 'skill' is modelling in 3ds max, applying shaders, (interior) lighting and various other stuff that's related to RAGE (IV\EFLC).

Update after long time !

Originally planned for Grand Theft Auto Episodes From Liberty City, Anderius RAGE game platform have been moved to Grand Theft Auto IV, it's mean that Anderius RAGE is a Grand Theft Auto IV mod now not a Grand Theft Auto Episodes From Liberty City anymore. The reasons of this change is having a better experience of the mod, I encountered a lot of problems developing on Grand Theft Auto Episodes From Liberty City and the game is not as stable as Grand Theft Auto IV.
Anderius RAGE is a big and ambitious mod, I have a lot of plans so developing it is very long so release date is planned somewhere in 2013, don't wait it this year, it won't come.
Enough of talking about informations, here is a new screenshot.

Furthermore, IV and EFLC are the same game, filewise. How can you have stability problems is beyond me.

Exactly.

If you base it on top of IV and not the DLC folder like I did with the IV SA EFLC version, then they are technically the same. Vice City Rage had issues when you would go out in the water or fly in the air because they based it off the DLC. I will tell you now, it will be less stable if you try to load the whole map out of the DLC folder. If you disable files in the DLC and load it from the root it will work better. The map loading ability in the DLC isn't optimized for loading whole maps, just loading some things to update and modify the map being loaded from the root. I learned this with IV SA 3, and thats why EFLC was the recommended game to use on IV SA.

As far as content goes, you should try to create some new content the SA version doesn't have. Though its not really original, Ghostown combined both Ghostown maps in a great way, and has a zombie mode. So here are some ideas for original content. (Yes, some may not fit GTA, but this is supposed to be a futuristic city like something out of Star Trek, Star Wars, Halo, ect.
-Futuristic looking player model. I wouldn't do a futuristic GTA character though because that would be silly. You could even use something like Master Chief from Halo if you don't feel like making a new character.
-Futuristic looking vehicles. You could even use stuff from Halo.
-When you make the distant lights.dat, you might be able to have them in the sky too.
-New map objects and buildings.
-Missions and/or activities.
-Space craft. Now this idea was done on the Star-gate mod for GTA SA. This was amazing mod, and an amazing feature. What they did was they made a smaller version of the space craft and set the player invisable. They made the sky black and you were flying up high in the sky in the interior world in SA. There are other things you can do to make it look like space in IV. They have the planet modeled (but wasn't huge, as the model size is scaled down in space). You would need a script to move the vehicle around in space though. When you fly to the height limit, your teliported into space, and your vehicle is switched to the small version of the ship. You may not even need the small ship model. The small ship model was only used for the big ships in the mod so you might even be able to make somewhere (large space ship, or space station) for the player to land and walk around inside. To give you an idea of how this was in the Star-gate mod on GTA SA here is a video. (best one I could find)

Like I said before, I know this is GTA and it seems like a random thing to put in to it, and seems to far from GTA, but that same reason could also be a reason to go for it. It would be something interesting and unique.
