Man, as much I felt meh toward the finale, I thought it did its job tying up all loose ends. Season 7 made me pretty mad on the whole, though, lots of sh*t that happened for no reason, but I didn't think the finale was that bad.

Anyone seen The Bastard Executioner yet? Been meaning to start it and see if Kurt has the moxie to write medieval and jump on the GoT bandwagon, but haven't had time.

Pretty much. The ending wasnt bad at all. The finale to Dexter was by far and away a worse ending.

The end of SOA, for me, was ridiculous. It was an hour long bro hug followed by force fed parallelism between Jax and his father. It had the subtlety of a sledgehammer.

Where I live, the only people that seemed to watch Son's of Anarchy were women. Pretty much we considered it a chick flick almost. Just goes to show you how diverse the world really is. One part of the world it was a chick flick, another part of the world guys were watching it. Who would have ever thought. To each his own though. I could see how people would be into it.

A lot of women love Jax. I loved the violent biker wars.

Saddest ending to a to show since prison break. When I saw jax drive past he sign that said "580 west" I half cried as that's where his father died but the true crying began when I saw the semi truck heading past the sign "580 east".

Doesn't surprise me that a lot of the viewers were chicks. The show turned into some soap opera with a lot fake drama sh*t after like season 3.

It took a weird turn, first few seasons were about these badass men in a a badass motorcycle club taking care of business, plain and simple. Then they all became touchy feely and sh*t, and it was less about killing stuff and more about "family" and feelings.

Less about killing? Did you not watch the show? I admit it turned into a soap opera, but if you question the killing, or the action in the show then I'll assume you stopped watching.

I stopped watching for both reasons. Violence became comedic and the writing became worse than a daytime soap opera.

Season 1-3 are my favs. It just wasn't the same without Opie and I gotta admit that I had a bit of a crush on Nero.

I've binge watched the series thrice already and Season 7 always bothered me. So much sh*t that didn't need to happen. A whole bunch of things that didn't need to happen all throughout the series happened. Clay's death, understandable. Jax's death, I guess same. Overall, damn good show. Whenever I have time to kill I always throw it on.
