Hi, i have some time this days so i'll continue on finishing the map.. Almost done with vegetation right now, beta testers there should be update by saturday!
As for ETA on release of the Countryside Mountains V, i'm thinking that it will be ready at the end of month January.
Also there is a possibility now to make ped paths, i'll ask the maker of the road paths so he could help out on this!!!

Finnaly got the whole map cover'd with lushy vegetation and have added waterfall models aswell, up to adding buildings and making hud map next week icon14.gif

The screenshots look awful, too grainy. That's probably because IV does not have built-in anti-aliasing. However, it looks wonderful in zzcool's gameplay vid. I hope it's just as good in-game. I've been waiting for this mod.

It is actually possible right now, only with a bigger faster boat, if you pull the front tounge.gif

The boat ramp that is already in the standard game would be good. The collision on it goes beneath the water so the boat goes up it right.

I haven't finished the F-14 Tomcat, yet. The one in the video was a very early attempt. But it should be uploaded soon.

Ok then. Hope to see it. But have you made any other planes? Also will the flaps move when you play with an Xbox 360 controller?

@Stilldre: For the town, I wouldn't make it be like a big city. I'd make it small town/suburban looking. Reason why is its right next to LC. It will add variation to the combo of this map and LC. It feels silly to have it there when Algonquin isn't that far away.

Seems really cool, and how much job is done... It's hard even to imagine. I wish you luck working with mod and will download it with no questions. And if it's really bigger than LC, then this is a double advantage.

Is it possible to make the grass look less repeated?

I don't know if modders can write their own shaders for Rage, if so it would help; The rock texture on the cliff looks great smile.gif

Works nicely but the animations are way too quick. In real life the planes don't turn so quickly. This is, of course, when assuming it is a realistic game, and this mod is supposed to be of same standard as the game.

true, but keep in mind planes weren't supposed to be in IV anyways and I think this is already a big step to have a plane with working control surfaces, etc... But yea, the turning/rolling speed is really ridiculous.

About the map, i'm still figuring out how i can put those f*cking buildings to the map suicidal.gif
I've tryied them to stream like trees, but some of them worked and trees didn't spawned.. If i used collision, game was crashed.
I'm thinking just to try them now as normal models without collision, but than you could just walk through them lol.gif
Anyway this is going to be probably my last map mod cause i'm kinda tired/bored by this game for now and i have some important things to think about these days smile.gif
