Well, we all have played many games in our life and I play games for their story. If I dislike the story, I dislike the game but if Game play is fine then I have no problem with it. I haven't played much games like you all so don't say that my Opinions are the worst. dozingoff.gif

I would go for:
Max Payne Series
GTA 4
Need For Speed: Most Wanted

Yeah, well, I like Action/Racing games so I can't help myself. biggrin.gif

What's your favorite game which has a better story? smile.gif This topic can help also help me to choose Games which I will be buying in future. So, rant away.

Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 2.

Deep, thought provoking, symbolic and utterly wrenching from start to finishing. I was in tears by the end, a snivelling wreck. Never has there been a game so disturbing and yet so beautiful.

Bastion for me. Brilliantly-told story. Plus a fine gameplay, great-looking graphics, and awesome soundtrack. Damn good for an indie game.

Red Dead Redemption's story was awesome. I loved it. Also GTA IV, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. And GTA Vice City and San Andreas.

1. Mafia II
2. GTA SA
3. Dead space 2 (without knowing his wife/marker betrayed him in the first game)

EDIT:
4. AC brotherhood (only the parts in the past). AC revelations not, they really over did the "Good guy" part of Ezio.

Exactly. Old fans bash fallout 3. But they should be grateful. Fallout 3 saved the series.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Both "generations"
I'm secure enough in my masculinity (more like I just don't give a sh*t what internet people think) to admit I cried. A lot.

Oh yeah. Thanks for reminding me about that game. That moment when we disappear and our Partner cries like hell (My partner was Chimchar) and he/she sees the Temporial Tower and says heart touching words. And the Ending is priceless. cryani.gif The post ending wasn't much interesting but it gave answers to many questions. I knew from the beginning that it wasn't Dialga's fault that the Time had stopped. Darkrai was the root of all these problems. I wanted to f*cking kill him when I found this. The best antagonist in a game ever.

(don't read the spoiler until you haven't played the game)

Pssst... it's not a good idea to call someone retarded if you can't spell retarded. Stones and glass houses and such.

OT: Driver San Francisco. Don't get me wrong, in any other context it would be an awful, awful story, but its levels of cheesiness and clichés matched the "dumb 70s cop show" feel the game was trying to emulate perfectly. Sometimes, video games don't need good stories to make good experiences.

For a less bullsh*tty answer, I'll go for Max Payne 2, Half-Life 2, Assassins Creed 2, and Destroy All Humans 2.
