If something isn't updated every single day, it doesn't mean it's dead. You should be happy to see less updates as that means they are concentrating more in the converting itself than just showcasing what they have done.

Ok, well finally!!! AN UPDATE!! ;D

So finally, somewhere inside, i found my inspiration to start work again. Haven't felt this way since i started it.... kinda wierd... just played the game, and decided to start working on it again....

So anyway, this is what i'm working on.... Shadows & Details.... I remeber when i left off i started working on details and i was wanted to play with shadow mesh. My shadow mesh was successful and came out very nicely. Yes, it is the default shadows, which is low poly shadow mesh to help the game not to lag, but it looks fairly nice, better than no shadows at all. I've not seen any lag at my end, just the normal fps which isn't terribly high since the gtaiv models is already pushing the engine to the max.

I'm going to start stuff like this on manhat01 and the like, something to do and work on, finalizing some of the map. It's also something productive to do while i try to catch up on where everybody last left off on model converting.... i think we were working on the new jersey side? idk but this is atleast a start of a return of projectIV.... i'll upload more screenshots and a video when i get more done

The character is "outlined" or "glowing" in some screenshots.

I'd guess, since it's like that in IV with Detailed Shadows enabled.

two question, so the cars will spawn on streets, and park places?
and about weapons, they are implemented in this map or it is empty?

I sure hope you guys or someone can get the Realistic Water Shader mod for MTA working on the single player SA. It looks really good, and makes ENB Series water look like sh*t.

I'd rather use SP SA anyway as SP SA is 100x better than MTA. Streets are dead in MTA plus it always looks like you got a bad connection. I'm starting to think that water in those screens is seriously photoshoped.

enb start to annoy, ok shadows are good, color correction is good too.

BUT when is talking about what is important CARS: reflection is like a fkin mirror, in gta 4 reflection is moderated, so GFS IS BETTER

and building and flore shine is too much, in gta 4 it is not a mirror, so enb isnt good in that, i wached a vid and i found this:

i honestly could care less about enb........ i'm making a total conversion not a enb setting release. Don't like it? make or use your own. i'm using the one i like, you use the one you like.

There is no 'official' enb. XMakarusX made some iv like settings a while back, i don't think they have gotten released yet, but that would be the official enb if he ever decided to release it, but i've got many other things to work on then worrying about some enb because people don't like the settings im using.

As soon as dk22pac releases the SA:render, i plan on going back to alot of the models and add normal mapping from the maps straight out of gtaiv.

Small Update:

As you know, i was working on shadows, but i have put that on a small hold and i have almost converted all IV's lampposts into .dff with coronas (omni's) and with breakable data. Then i will place them throughout the map.

I was just about to say that. I was on my mobile device so I wasn't planning on downloading until I got to my computer.

When will it be out? I hope it can be configured. That way I can disable things that I don't want, and try to make the game have the original atmosphere, but bring it to modern times. I've already got that going with ENB Series. A more modern graphics mod, but with the original atmosphere would go along great with HRT 1.4 when that comes out. It would be just like as if Rockstar were to move GTA SA to newer consoles.

Last I heard, DK22 was having trouble ironing out some bugs .. it also includes a 'skydome' for realistic clouds and stars etc icon14.gif

I haven't heard from hellya or xxaeroofxx or anybody quite a while now... thought the mod is dead, last files that i've gotten were fixed roofs of Manhattan buildings, hoping for some Private Release meybe ?

I can already imagine the gang wars that I can set up between Latin Kings and Trinitarios... aswell as changing the radio stations and possibly creating my own tounge.gif


also best to set up the prison population as its own thing...


I was thinking something along the lines of...

LS Peds being set to Bohan
SF Peds being set to Possibly Alderny...
LV Peds being the main for the rest of the city..
Desert Folk being modified for the prison (Since there is technically no need for them... also there are Prison peds over on LS-RP.com so go check it out and ask around)
Country Folk being possibly used as the airport peds (Modify the peds into actual airport models)
and possibly adding some plain clothed police peds (Pretty easy to do)
