Paranormal talk and other creepy stuff.

The idea of this thread is to post anything paranormal related or just scary. Personal accounts(be them fictional or non-fictional), urban legends, creepypastas, scary pictures/videos, etc. are all welcomed here.
While all beliefs on the topic are respected, please don't force them down other peoples throats. This topic is meant to just share paranormal and scary content, not to debate it. Whether you believe in the paranormal or not, it tends to end up straying the thread off topic when brought up. If you still have to, then go to the D&D section or take it to PM to discuss it.
That being said, I'd like to start us off with a few favorite creepypastas of mine:
1999. (I know it follows the cliche 'scary kids show' idea, but I like this one in particular.)
The Disappearance of Ashley, Kansas.

Same with me. Lots of people say that the boats and ships which went deep in there never returned. Some say it's all due to the presence of the methane gas bubbles in the ocean which causes the boat to crash and sink. But, I believe something really paranormal is going on there.

Friend of a friend took a photo and there was a girl in it (a ghost obviously).
Personally though I don't buy it, hallucinations could happen for a number of reasons, I have had them from too much caffeine and no water, and from being sick and dehydrated.
If you already believe, it doesn't take much to convince yourself you saw something.
Just my experiences and thoughts.

Here in Southend we have a strange customer who lives in a massive park. Supposedly he hangs out under a bridge, the weird thing is that he dresses entirely in toilet paper. |
Fresh or used?

That is some scary sh*t! They better pull it off.
In a serious note,
When I was about 8 years old, my older sister said she saw me inside her room so she tried to get me out, but suddenly she heard my mom screaming at me. LOL! That doesn't make sense at all.

No idea, but people have saw this guy sitting under a bridge in the park, barking like a dog.
Another headcase who slipped through the cracks, I'm afraid.

not sure if it's paranormal, but it's definitly creepy, a few weeks ago i was at my laptop about 10 feet from my bed, and i heard my door open, and as i looked to see who it was it was my friend (she lives 75 miles away, and i know i'd locked up) and she walked over to me, pulled me off the chair, tore my shirt off and stuck a knife in my chest and tore straight down, then i woke up and had blood all over my bed and loads of scratches on my chest back and neck. |
man i wuz so scared of dis story. it made me crap my pants.

I'm led to believe that its something to do with the earths magnetic field in this area. Causes instruments to go all to pot, making crews to make life or death decisions, with instruments that are reading wrong. Needless to say, they were bad decisions. Faint memory from a doc I watch years ago.

Ive been to the Bermuda Triangle, and witnessed a mystery.
I walked out on my balcony in the early morning, just after the sun had come up. It was hazy and the sun was on the opposite
side of the ship, visibility was at about half of what I would consider normal. My attention was immediately drawn to a disturbance
in the water. The water wasn't behaving any different than the rest of the sea, it wasn't more or less wavy and it certainly wasn't a
whirl pool, but it did have a drastically different color to it. It was much darker than the rest of the sea. It was perfectly circular
in shape. It started out approximately 25 - 50 feet in diameter and although went unnoticed at first it was slowly growing in size
eventually to about twice its original size. It kept pace with the ship for approx 15 - 20 mins. It had a mist rising out or in to it. The mist
was only above the odd colored circle of water. This mist didn't swoosh or swirl, it would be best described as stagnate. after watching
with friends in awe for a few minutes I eventually rushed to grab my samsung 10 mega pixel camera. I shot video for approx 5 mins
stopped then shot it again for about 4 mins until the phenomenon vanished. I said out loud "what in the f*ck was that sh*t" before
stopping recording.
I immediately hopped onto the bed and hit play to watch what i had previously recorded. My heart sank when the samsung said
corrupted and gave some numeric file error. This was unfortunately the case for the 2nd video too, I felt cheated. Now, I'm not
sure I would imply that the Triangle was unwilling to allow its phenomenon to be filmed, but this is the only time this problem
has ever occurred. And we shot hundreds of vids on this cam, on this trip as well as trips before and after. Even though my
"proof" doesn't exist their was 3 witnesses, 4 counting me, and when we are all together it usually comes up and we still dont have
any idea what we saw that warm January morning at the Caribbean edge of the Bermuda Triangle.

It wasn't creepy because it is clearly fake. I only did about an hour of research when I realized it. The face is a bit scary but, it's clearly Photoshopped, even if it was real the story never stated anything about him cutting his nose off?
Also this is based off the serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, a infamous serial killer who lived about 60, 70 or about 80 years ago. He never got in a fight with boys who set his face on fire, he clearly doesn't have a slit across his mouth, maybe because he isn't the Joker? Also if you read the story you see it has several faults, due to the fact that they started shooting at Jeff then they had a knife? Why not just execute him when you had him trapped? Plus, how would the boys have even known he was there let alone where he lived. If you honestly are scared of this (anyone) then read the story and you'll see it's clearly fake.

Agreed, I actually sympathized with Jeff the whole time, and the ending felt like it was just tossed on to make Jeff the bad guy.
Here's a pasta about a kids show, it's long.
