Hmm, they still look different from the SA cars but that's because the polycount wasn't the only thing that made the IV cars look different... the IV cars were much less "cartoony" and had more defined shape overall.
Great job nonetheless, any plans on some "ordinary" cars?

well the dff size for Infernus is 250ko and for SultanRS is 284ko smile.gif

Yeah, about that well I think it's how the graphics work in Gta IV cause I seen some Gta sa vehicles were converted to it and they seemed a lot better and less cartoony tounge.gif

He was asking how many polies are on the cars now compared to the original amount, not the .dff size.

To answer his question - the Infernus you made has about 2200 polies without the wheels.

Well, SA vehicles in IVSA still looked distinctive. What I mean, for example, take a look at OnePiece's HD GTA III cars and compare them to GTA IV cars - similar detail level, but still different styling itself.

You should port them to GTA3 as well. The iOS/Android version can take high-def vehicles, but since they're a little more restrictive when it comes to resources a lower-def vehicle mod may suffice.

Also, about the ambulance and firetruck, are you going to retexture them to fit the San Andreas environment? I.e. you could change the livery to match the LAFD.

Looks a bit "high quality" compared to SA's vehicles, if you want to make exactly as SA's ones, perhaps you can lower the quality/polys. But it isn't really necessary, it's looking great. icon14.gif

Wow, I am really impressed with your project. The Huntley and Washington look as if they came with the game!

Try as much as you can to stick to the default San Andreas textures, that is what will give your models the best finish.

I would swap your carbon fibre texture on the Sultan and Infernus to the one in vehiclegeneric256 (at the bottom right) to make it fit in the game better.

The Washington would fit better if you removed the specular highlight from the wheels, then the wheels would be similar to the Premier's.

still wip but it's sorta done anyways, all that is left is interior (chairs steerwheel...etc) and needs damaged parts (easy to do), set dummies (easy to do), some texturings (easy to do),wheel aaand, there...it would be done lol.gif
