More likely making a whole new chassis that looks similiar to the Gta IV's Vehicle, wich will be much more lowpoly than the original one, and also it includes Original Gta sa parts (interios/engine/wheel...etc)
the thing is that I used maddriver's and automan's logos that they got from Gta IV, still need to know if it's ok to release the mods tounge.gif

So far I have made more than 20 Vehicles biggrin.gif

Many things that Xbox wouldn't support, even high quality Txds
the thing that I mean about support is that the game would run with crashes over and over, including lags confused.gif

best resolution for the images in Txd files MUST be lower than 256x256 else you'd face some lags and those "blurry" texture moments and also the lower it is the better perfomence and offcourse, worse quality tounge.gif

about the dff, sure you could put a car that is up to 2Mbs BUT you shouldn't let it spawn anywhere, and make it really rare, and everytime you want to use that car. make sure you remove cars from traffic so Xbox's RAM would find space to support your car tounge.gif kinda sucks to play like that so that's why I started on this project smile.gif

alright, started on making low poly wheels, so far I made 2 and I'll use these wheels on the vehicles I make, but you can edit it if you want but don't release without my permission!

I like it. Looks quite believeable to be "How IV would look if it was done by Rockstar back in 2004".

Update for sultan RS:
Changed the wheels, added mirror, handbrake and gear handle in the interior and moved the exhaust from its old position.

SH*TTY ENGINE! I KNOW! I'll try and make a lowpoly engine for the vehicles confused.gif

anyways this car has 3colors as you can see in the pictures, prim: yellow, sec: red, 3rd: aqua blue.

Sure man I could try and do some 3D modeling but I only use Zmodeler smile.gif so far I'm not sure if it's possible to make a map and objects with it confused.gif

Mod looks great.

It's good. I've been trying to find some good, detailed car mods that aren't excessively high-poly.

updates!
added "better" sh*tty gauges, new engine (I'm not good with engine even irl tounge.gif ),edited the wheel (added a darkish surface behind it to hide the "floating" stick) and added pedals smile.gif

alright I think the model is almost done, all I need to do now is make a better chassis_vlo and edit the shadow and it's done biggrin.gif

tho would Sultan RS need ANY kind of tuning part? for example roof or bonnet or something like that, do you think it does?

I'm sure you noticed how my ingame pictures have the cars with "low" reflection, the reason is that I have a modded vehicle.txd
but I'll make sure to include the textures user from it, lol I'm so bad at releasing mods suicidal.gif

Notice:
sorry guys I noticed I did a mistake before about the infernus, it misses the front logo so I'll put one on it and also I'll upgrade its chassis (new engine/interior/wheel) and release it with the Sultan Rs smile.gif
and also about Infernus, I forgot to include it in the readme but it has tuning part, wich is spoiler, so sorry guys blush.gif
add spoilers in the infernus line in carmods.dat file!

It's cool to see low-poly vehicles in GTA compared to these half million poly monsters carmods this generation.
There is a way to make the reverselights and indicators works but then you'll need cleo4 and DK22Pac his plugin.
But darn, the Sultan RS looks sh*tty, in a positive way tounge.gif

so now the Sultan RS is released and this time I added the reflection textures in the .txd because I thought maybe some people wouldnt like reflections or would use diffrent ones. smile.gif

The sultan rs has been released and you can find it here!

The handling is not included atm but once I'm done with making almost all the Gta IV vehicles as low poly then I'll head for another project wich is IV handling.

BUT it doesn't mean I wont make any handling atm so at time check this link for any updates of my mods biggrin.gif

wow i love these things

tips:
  • infernus handling is almost uncontrollable
  • improve the reflections on the windows, in infernus is very bright and sultan is blue windows and head/taillights
  • why low-resolution textures? use higher quality textures, textures are lights and greatly improve the car!

well about the tips, sorry about that handling, I just kinda don't have really much time for editing the handling cause it takes time for me but I'll infrom any updates about it here

and about reflections I'll work on it tounge.gif

and the low resolution is to evoid lags, cause the higher resolution the more lags would come but in that case,
I'll make 2Txds from now one, HQtxd and LQtxd so people would choose what they want biggrin.gif

like I said before, I managed to make more than 20 vehicles, I didn't release others because they all need upgrades and editings like these.
so yes I'm planning to make most of the Gta IV vehicles wink.gif

alright, update for Sultan RS: aggressive spikes added as Extra.

- grills (now you can see the engine from outside)
- edited exhausts
- added roof scoop as extra
- now it has 2 changeable colors (second one is under the doors)
- changed rims
- chaned reflections (low lighting)

Sure, to make look exactly like SA vehicles. Also you could use the SA wheels, those ones aren't really fitting in. smile.gif

Alright as you guys requested, the models now have:

- SA style licenseplate.
- SA dirt. (not sure if it's working correctly)
- SA style wheels.

and also I added the "scratch" textures on the damaged parts, I think it's better that way tounge.gif

so right now the problem I'm having is that the "dirt" skin seems like it's not really working for ALL of the vehicles in Gta sa (tested on PC)

I tried many ways to see if the dirt would go away if I drive on water but nothing happens confused.gif

After all I released them and please report if the dirt is really working and if there is some serious problems with them smile.gif

So I can go for the next car wink.gif

The car dirt cant be affected on PC from my experience. I've never seen it change in my game, ever. It should work on PS2 (and I assume Xbox aswell) though.
(if it does in v1.2 or w/e then feel free to correct me)

alright then, from now on I may take long to post a vehicle but I'll only post it once I make sure it's "perfectly" ready and compatible with the game.
