DRIVE. A stylistic PSD tutorial.

REALLY SIMPLE, yet effective.

Oh sweet, that was quick.

The idea of it is to get people working along side it in Photoshop by doing that, but this works just as nice, cheers mate!

Nice mimicking it, but if you want to get the most out of a tutorial try and branch out a little bit and make your own design. It's helped me out a lot in the end instead of replicating someone else's work. smile.gif

That's really helpful, Dystopia. This reminds me the time when I used to create 2/3 sigs a day, it was a vicious.
Thanks a lot. wink.gif

Glad you're enjoying it and it's helpful guys, no problem at all. Feel free to mimic or use the piece in any way you want. Im completely flexible with that stuff, nobody should pay to learn.

The gradient with the blending mode to 'lighting' works best on darker colors. wink.gif

@Nic_23 - Nice man, looks real sweet!

@Narcis_speed6 - It does indeed, that's what it's for after all. I find however if your trying to get an old film style overlay, it can be great for light colours too, especially when turning black into something a bit more vibrant (As seen on the clothes of Claude in my outcome.) In which case it works better than the actual overlay mode, which often makes the whole comp darker or too saturated, which is quite an annoyance.

Aha, was that originally for me? I asked for a sig for battlefield 3 and Narcis made me one.

Very nice tutorial, I have to say. I wish I had PS so I can do amateur work.

Not bad, Zulu. I would suggest more grunge'ish colors.. would fit nicely for that theme.
