You disagree with saying Toyotas have never made good looking cars, but then don't post the best looking Toyota...

I think the Ae86 hatch is an awesome looking car. Better looking then much of what I see around.

That's a lie, Toyota has made some very good cars. In the 2000's they just went way too economy class and their cars began to suck to where only Lexus's were nice. They''re better a little now, but still bland, though Lexus is damn nice.
The guy who said Toyota never made nice cars obviously never saw a Supra, all generations, or a 1980's Celica, etc.

Um, those are not good looking cars at all. I agree Toyota has made some good looking cars, but not those. MK4 Supra is actually mildly good looking car, but nothing extremely pretty. MK3 is also just...mildly good looking. 80s Celica is just horrible.

Not a big fan of its way of looking. I prefer the TA22 Celica, KP Starlets etc.

Yeah sure I like boring cars lol.

That's you, to me those are just some of the nice cars Toyota made.

Um, it's called um, an um, opinion.

Um.

I wouldn't have said this at all if you had just posted in a way that explains your opinion on the cars "I don't find those cars good-looking at all/I think they're pretty damn ugly", rather than trying to make it a fact, "Those are not good looking cars at all".
It's about how you present yourself.

Um Thurman, we're posting dream cars here, so why don't we all shut up about which cars we find ugly?

people seem to either love it or hate it (I guess because it's become associated with Fast and Furious? I dunno) but I still think the crowning achievement for Toyota was the Supra.
I can't help myself, I just think it's gorgeous.

The Celica was also very good-looking. Sure, the fastback version looks like a Mustang, but so did all of its competitors.

Also, Toyota is way more focused on making reliable and practical cars, not good-looking ones. You could say the same about Honda.

I would have to admit that I quite love the design of the MK IV Supra, when you pay close attention to design it actually looks pretty good, muscular overall, but good still.

Toyota don't seen to be making many great looking cars anymore, they make great concepts and then by the time the concept evolved into production it just looks safe and boring...

That's not all that accurate since you posted a pic of the FT-86 G-sports concept rather than the regular FT-86 concept which is a bit more similar to the actual car.

I'm disappointed that they sell it here with a scion badge. I seem to prefer the subaru version more just because it doesn't have that badge. Other than that, the cars seem pretty nice in person.

I feel the same way actually.

Scion should f*ck right off and just be Toyotas, I mean what the f*ck?

I know it's technically inaccurate, I personally think the FT-86 G-Sports could have been produced and marketed in a similar way to the Lexus LFA, to make things worse Toyota didn't even produced a factory-built G-Sports version of the GT-86 sad.gif

Basically what I'm trying to say is that the GT-86 is the only related production car to the FT-86 G-Sports concept and it saddens me that it's a fact. sad.gif

Personally, I think the G-Sport concept looks quite nasty in a few areas. Overstyled bonnet and roofline, for one- I bet those random strakes aren't performance-derived. Also, there's nothing more I hate than "rear vents into nowhere" on front-engined cars. There'd better be some damn huge radiator in the boot to justify cutting vents in front of the rear arches.

I think it could have too, just push it to celebrities and jack the price up a few hundred thousand.

Bingo. It would be out of my reach for the time being, but at least it would be a production car that you and I could buy if we wanted to, and had the money of course.

I've posted some dream cars, but this has always been my favorite since I first saw it.

This beautiful, mint condition '69 Camaro SS 396. If I had one just like this it would be unreal.

Being rather sensible with my choice, I'm hoping to get one of these later on, although I wouldn't be unhappy if I just got a standard Focus, just as long as it has 5 doors and is blue. smile.gif

Like the one that Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) drove in Miami Vice.

Holy sh*t, look at those tires. That e30 M3 is sweet. I guess I just like street cars more. Nice pics though, is that m3 caged? Screens to small, can't tell.
