I bought 100 so that it allows me to sell a type of options contract called a "covered call" -- long story, I'll explain another day if it works out.

Regardless, hopefully I can pull a good little profit on this trade when they release new information.

I know, which is why I post my stock purchases to other forums and communities that are interested in the same thing.

This is different, it's directly related to the main subject of this forum, and many people here are very interested in TTWO and the effect GTA V will have on their stock.

Oh wait I forgot, we only appreciate threads about starting a family in GTA V, sasquatches, and trucking minigames, my bad.

So what do you want to tell us?
You bought some stocks of T2. And now? This does absolutely not give us anything about GTA or V. It is definitely not V related. Not even GTA related.

And your argument that some community users are interested in the interaction of the stockprices with GTA announcements is totally useless. The stock charts are for free, so everybody who is interested in watching the price of Take2 can see the chart immediately online.

He's a "securities trader" who's since he registered here been hyping the act of buying Take-Two stock to the common fan with his threads and posts.

This is just a theory, but he's doing that in an attempt to drive up the share price (because the more people buy, the higher the stock goes). What better way than to convince people who are excited and hyped about the game?

All I'm trying to do is provide a different perspective than most of the people here...

I'm well aware that no one else on this forum will purchase TTWO, which is why I'm doing it and sharing my experiences.

Not true at all. TTWO is one of the first publicly traded companies I would invest in if given the opportunity. As for making a profit when they release new information, though? I'm skeptical of that. The shares would no doubt increase in value, but if you want a real profit, you should wait until the release of the game itself.

I've seen at least two people in your threads tell you they have purchased already and others have become curious and inquiring about how to do so as well.

Right but I doubt I'm going to convince anyone to buy anything.

I too have purchased it recently, about 800 shares. I disagree though with the time that you plan to sell. It looks like the best time to sell historically for them is after or around a major released of GTA. There are no guarantees in stocks, but it's almost certain that it goes up after the numbers have been posted after a GTA.

--HELL-- yes! Good deal man. I just figured I'd risk a couple hundred bucks to give this forum some entertainment (and maybe earn myself a couple hundred in a couple months), but you really went deep. Unfortunately I don't have the balls to risk thousands on a US stock (I exclusively trade foreign exchange, EUR/USD, .. I only have my stock account to pick up certain stocks with regards to the news and whatnot.)

I think I agree with those who have said to hold the stock until the release date. Sounds like it'll be a much bigger return, but if it pops 40% on release date announcement, then I have no choice but to sell and hop back in on a correction or something.

Ha I didn't do it for the good of the forums, I did it for my own good. I've bought it at three different points. One about less than a year after GTA IV came out, and twice in the last year. Lucky me, the first time I bought some it happened to be at its lowest point since '02.

But if you go to a chart that shows it's pricing since its existance there are a couple things to notice. Recently it has hit very low. Most importantly though is that the highest price points happen to be exactly after the releases of Vice City, GTA SA, GTA IV and the others. There is no coincidence in that. That is why I plan to sell soon after the release of GTA V.

I'ma invest too, soon as I win the lotto

Anywho, I love how the future of Rockstar is reliant on this ONE GAME, according to peeps here, BUT that's not the case, as I see it, and Take2 are looking to lesson the necessity of Grand Theft Auto for ROCKSTAR to survive, but my opin is to do this with a winning Open World formula, take the concept of GTA to different game stories, settings, future, past... it can go in 100 different directions, c'mon!!

If you look at the past market data for TTWO (specifically with regards to prior GTA game releases), you'll see that their near-future value indeed rides on the success or failure of GTA V.

Who do you think you are, Gordon Gekko? Piss off with your stock market buying nonsense. I know you're just some sad crony form Take Two trying to trick us into buying T2 stock so the stock price goes up.

Next time try releasing your games on time and you wont have to sink so low as to pander to the offical fan forum to buy stock in the company.

Only useful if we know how much you personally spend, and make as a direct result, otherwise, it's of little to no value posting it here. Stocks are based mostly on speculation
