You can do them at anytime after they are unlocked as well as heist missions, Wang cars asset missions you can even do them after End of the Line. They are not necessary to make further progress in storyline.

Anywat, I always do them because I usually have very little money when I arrive to SF, and those missions help a bit.

I misunderstood this, at first. I thought the topic starter was asking how to change Grove gang weapons, until now I noticed the "upgrading" part. In that case, you'll need codes of this nature: http://www.codemaste...WeaponModsa.htm
My question is: Do you mean "upgrade" in terms of firepower, accuracy, clip count, or what?
