The crashes magically disappeared when I added some files to the demo and Garju added them back to the 'dev build'.

Erm, not exactly Blaster. The crashes were because of missing files that you restored. I never deleted them, i just edited them so crashes are still gone, demo and dev build.

Since it's running on IV, niko's animations are already used. If it will be ported to EFLC, you just have to remove luis his animations in order to use the ones from Niko.

Luis' animation only looks good on Luis, and Johnny's only looks good on Johnny. Niko's looks good on most of the characters and is more normal looking. Its also close to Claude. We may release a patch for the demo to fix the animations so their Niko's animations.

I second this. Luis' walk/run animation would fit even less on Tommy than what Johnny does.

I think Niko fits just fine. I've tested all of the animations, and if it was up to me, I'd stick with Niko's animation. Just a little comparison:

I'm really enjoying the Demo, but it's only stable for about 5 minutes, then buildings start disappearing and finally it freezes and I have to shut it off, anyone else getting similar issues? (Running EFLC 1.1.2.0)

We were planning a patch, until Flits and I got kicked, so the patch wont go through. No one bothered to remove johnnys animations, but I see no reason why niko wont be used.

Ye same problem with dev build. I have no idea how to fix this bug.... confused.gif

Of course I'm serious. And no, IV:SA works fine, played that for about an hour yesterday without any of the issues I said about before. So yeah it is a little odd.

Yes, something weird about that, I had crashes as well sometimes when the police started to chase me, or when I got a 4 star wanted level, but sometimes I reached 6 stars, very random. I couldnt trace the source of the bug, might be paths. I thought it was only in the demo, I never tested this problem in the IV version.

@Rob, indeed very strange, the only really thing the demo lacks is lods put into WDD, other then that, its pretty much the same setup as R* would do it, I made sure of that.

Yeah having said that when no cars spawned it was pretty stable, but once I started seeing cars it got less stable, some sort of correlation there anyway.

It's the Copmodel. Spawn the LSPD Cop with SNT: Crash.

That's a bit of a drastic step, then you will remove ALL tlad animations, including weapons.

Is there a specific reason as to why you are using so called fake lights?

i didn't notice them until someone mentioned it, now i can't play without noticing it lol

I've been wondering what they're referring to ever since someone first mentioned it a couple weeks ago. From what i've seen, all IIIRC and IVSA lights use the same method that vanilla GTAIV uses: traditional lights inside the wdr file.

Ok update on my issues, I realised I was playing the IV version of SA:IV yesterday, I am having the same buildings disappearing etc on IV:SA too so whatever my issue is it's with the EFLC version only.

Just wondering: What'll happen to the closed tunnel upon Shoreside Vale? That tunnel what's blocked with Roadblocks (And heard by rumors leads to another city). Gonna close it too, or make the feature Rockstar didn't show there?
